There are four types of soup to choose from - shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, miso and kimuchi. We went for the shabu-shabu and kimuchi. From the Healthy Bar, you will find different types of mushrooms (enoki, Eryngii, shitake, oyster), vegetables (spinach, lettuce, pak choi, leeks, corn, Chinese cabbage, carrot), tofu, udon, shirataki noodles, lala clams, sausage, fish cake, fish balls, and much more. You can also help yourself to the sushi at the bar. Suki-Ya is an all-you-can-eat place, so help yourself to anything you like. The price is RM31.90++ for adults and half price for kids for lunch (11am-5pm). There will be a RM2 surcharge on weekends. For dinner, price is RM39.80++. Kids under 4 eat for FREE. Buffet time is 120 minutes.

Verdict: Food was above average and the unbeatable wallet friendly price tags. I only wish Ume Tei is nearer to me. ~>_<~

We ordered Beef Steak set and Sashimi set both paired with garlic rice (you can opt for white rice too), love the dipping soy sauce with cut cili-padi (always goes well with the grill beef). This has definitely been adjusted to suit local taste buds.

The place is kind of small so is very limited and small,that why resevation here is not allowed .

We went for the signature Chibo okonomiyaki (RM32), which comes with chicken, beef, prawn, squid and scallop, topped with okonomiyaki sauce, Japanese mayo and bonito flakes. It was fun to watch the chef make it and it tasted delicious.

My Personal Opinion You know what? I've forgotten what the food tastes like after so long. I think I might be coming here more often now. The prices are truly affordable and the taste isn't half bad....so, why not? ^_*

Flaming tuna burrito - spicy tuna, surimi crab, Romaine lettuce, seaweed salad, jalapeno, furikake, umami sweet soy. This is pretty similar to a maki sushi roll with nori seaweed wrapping the rice and other filling ingredients. Very tasty, though we had to dig out the jalapeno for the kids.
