Just sit and relax and let the work stress ebbed away in this spacious restaurant while picking at the Banchan side dishes that came with the mains.
All in all, a satisfying post-recovery meal! PS: Front counter service is friendly.
We enjoyed the food here and this is definitely one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in town. The owners are friendly but it is a bit warm in the restaurant. Finding parking can be a challenge on top of the long queue. You should visit Restoran Seoul Taman at Danau Desa if you are Korean BBQ lover.
Dae Ji Gal Bi was delicious too. Pork spare ribs marinated with traditional Korean recipe. Dae Ji Gal Bi @ RM 30
The set up is very humble and cozy. You won't see any haze in this restaurant like you used to see in other Korean restaurant where they will cook in front of you. This restaurant's policy is no cooking in front of their customer. So if you like to see your food prepared right in front of you, this is not the restaurant you are looking for.
Overall, I really satisfied with the food and the environment that Mi Na Rae had offered. I will come back for it. Maybe I shall visit them when I come back from Kedah. Till then!! :)
For fans of Korean BBQs, this is certainly a place to consider for reasonably priced BBQ meats with a twist of wrapping your meat in juicy apple slices. Overall taste was definitely respectable although I can't say if I tasted any difference in the meat being marinated overnight in apple sauce for 24 hours! >_< If you want to eat here, get ready to be drenched in sweat as the place is freakin' warm...even inside the air-conditioned restaurant. The place is open with far too few air-conditioner units to be able to cool the place down. So, it makes little difference if you opt for seats inside or outside...it's still hot! I can just imagine those eating bowls of hot ramyun and sweating bucket loads. So, make sure you have your hair up (ladies and some gentlemen) and wear something minimal light and comfortable when you head here for your "free sauna"...kikiki! :D
Special attention is that the store does not accept the appointment, we directly on the line Walk In on the line!
A great Korean BBQ joint, speciality being the pork (belly, sausage, ribs) which is firstly marinated with apples then cooked over the bbq using apple wood.
Happy Hour beers until 8pm are Tiger (5 for rm$60) and Guinness (5 for rm$70).
8/10 Stars Price :Expensive (RM40-RM60 for per person) Services :Good Environment : Cooling & Live Band Food Type : Western/Korean/Bar/Snacks/coffee/dessert Status : NON-Halal
I was with my hubby and son around the vicinity of this neighbourhood restaurant when I noticed their value-for-money offer of "YOU CAN EAT ALL ~ UNLIMITED REFILLABLE KOREAN BBQ" for RM 29+/Adult, RM 17+/Kids Below 130cm and for kids shorter than 80cm gets to eat for FREE with 2 hours/120 minutes dining time.
We were really pleased with the meal here, and would love to return to try the other cuts and sot bap.
Over the weekend, we went for another Korean BBQ meal with our friends. We chose Nak Won as it's close to our friend's place and we had a good meal when we dined here last year. As we arrived quite late this time, the place was much busier and we were ushered to one of the tatami-style tables at a hidden corner of the restaurant so service was painfully slow. Thankfully, the great company and food made up for it.
The marinated pork ribs were pretty good too, though I still prefer the pork belly as it's more fatty. Do also eat it while its hot as it gets a little chewy once cold. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here as the meat and ban chan is tasty and service is good. There is also another Korean restaurant in Taman Desa, but for those who do not like queuing, this is equally as good.
At least Bulgogi BBQ House has a specialty whereby at RM 25 per pax you have an all-you-can-eat BBQ set, meaning anything in the set can have repeated orders. If you want the Tobokki and also hotpot, you can choose the RM 29.99 set.
There's 4 of us today and we're really like seriously hangry so we decided to order the party pack set which cost RM 110 GST% not included which was massive in size guaranty to satisfied you . The set comes with a BBQ dakgalbi with kimchi season grill chicken/pork in the centre composited with korean steamed egg, melted mozzarella cheese dip, seaweed glutinous rice, stir cook vege, garlic and if there's not enough you can add on more cheese, rice, and even ramen with additional charges .
Overall, I only love the Chicken Bulgogi and the korean hot pancakes, they are the best among all menu item that they have. Staff service was nice especially the owner but item production timing wise, is a little disappointing~ took longer than average. Hopefully, the owner could detect faulty within their cafe. If I would to re-visit, most probably after 6 months to see improvements and what's new in their cafe .
Kingdom Dakgabi (RM57) The heavenly dish to try here. The Kingdom Dakgalbi coupled with the appetizing flavours with the special sauce, generous amounts of cheese, fried chicken, toppokis kimchi side and mini rice. If you are a big fan of cheese, you should try this! The creaminess of the cheese combined with the light spicy flavours from the kimchi as well as signature sauce makes it a perfect indulgence.
Their barbecue meat is undeniably good and delicious. They are all really well marinated as what it has written in their menu. However, the service is very bad, lettuce is not well wash, bad air ventilation in the restaurant and the price is not cheap at all. In my opinion, with their fancy decoration and design will able to attract patron to dine in just one time only but will never get many loyal customers unless they started to do something about their problems.
Kimchi Chicken Dol-Sod Bap, 16.90 ringgit. If you fancy something simple and not too filling – this could be it. It basically is a bowl with rice + charboiled chicken + Kimchi. It tasted good. The chicken was tender, with a little sweetish flavoring. The rice was sticky and gooey, a few spoonful of the Kimchi soup that came on the side + the chicken, provided a variety of texture and flavor – spicy, sweet, sour and everything else in between. I enjoyed it.
As for seafood, they have the Baby Octopus for you to enjoy as well. The items which are being served are fresh and well marinated. As we really enjoyed bbq-ing here as well.
The price per pax for the Korean BBQ Buffet is RM39 nett which is on par with what other restaurants are charging. For grilling, they offer 6 types of meat (chicken and pork) and octopus, mostly marinated in spicy or sweet soy sauce.
Last week, I was craving for Korean BBQ (again!)... we didn't want to go too far since Hubby wants to get home in time to catch his football match so we decided to try the newly opened Hwa Ga at Taman Danau Desa. Hwa Ga has various other outlets around Klang Valley, however I have never tried any of them before so we came here without any expectations. Price: Lunch RM28+ for adult, RM18+ for child, Dinner RM30+ for adult, RM20+ for child. Total bill RM72.30 for 2 adults, inclusive drinks
It is really disappointing for a dessert house which is primarily serving their Korean Bingsu turned out to be very sloppy. If they do not have the ripe mango, they should have just tell me that they run out of stock. I am not sure if this place is going to survive in the long run with a quality like this. They better start improving and serve some Korean food such as bibimbap or udon to get some people to dine in for lunch and dinner instead of just for snacks during the tea time.
There are constant surprise in Korean food as they are also evolving. Narungji Tongdak is one of the latest item being introduce in Korea and also known as one of the latest hype. It is actually a very classic recipe that infuse with moden craze such as Cheese. Inside the chicken is filled with glutinous rice, black rice, ginseng, jujube dates, gingko nuts, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, barley and garlic. All-You-Can-Eat Korean A La Carte BBQ Buffet Lunch 11am to 3pm Adult – RM 39++ | Child RM 20++ (6 to 11 years old) Dinner 5pm to 11pm Adult – RM 45++ | Child: RM 25++ (6 to 11 years old)
