Originated from Seoul, Chir Chir (치르치르) is the largest fried chicken chain in Korea with over 100 stores in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Honey Butter Chicken (RM24.90) A highly addictive dish which I agree with crispy boneless fried chicken chucks with potato wedges and rice cakes, tossed with honey butter sauce and seasoning.
Started with this Rose Cheese Chiqueen, a cheesy chicken platter that’s going to become cheese lovers’ new favourite! Fried chicken tenders stacked over a bed of fondue cheese, topped with chunky potato wedges and cherry tomatoes, further heaped with mozzarella sauce.
There is an unlimited BBQ buffet at RM 40 per person, which I think is pretty worth it, The meat is pretty good, and the side dishes are okay. This place is crowded on weekends night, but the..
整体来说就只有烤肉这部份我可以接受,别的都强差人意,没有下次。
There might not be fancy slick furniture’s or sophisticated equipped tabletop grills like many other Korean BBQ joints, but this place is almost always full and packed with patrons. If you are looking for a good Korean charcoal barbecue fix, then look no further. This one here is considerably well round up with all the classics including delicious spicy pork, seafood, and marinated chicken alongside appetising banchans.
Head down to Table9 cafe with friends and family to experience this mouth-watering Korean-Italian cuisine.
Salted Caramel Cake was yum. Sweet from the chocolate and the salty taste from the salted caramel give it a perfect kick. Salted Caramel Cake @ RM 12.90
The absolutely scrumptious seafood spaghetti is enticing enough to make me come back just for it (in fact, my friend returned just for that). Of course, there are lots more to try and I hear the risottos and pizzas are good too. Charming cafe, unique dishes, reasonable prices, warm service...are some of the other reasons you may want to make a trip here. So, grab a table at Table 9 and feel right at home with some comfort food that's always fresh, always appetising! ^_~
We enjoyed the food here and this is definitely one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in town. The owners are friendly but it is a bit warm in the restaurant. Finding parking can be a challenge on top of the long queue. You should visit Restoran Seoul Taman at Danau Desa if you are Korean BBQ lover.
整体来说我还算喜欢这里的食物的,价钱和普通的韩国烤肉店差不多,朋友所说的缺点我一点也没有感受到,虽然烤肉没有他们所形容的肉汁会喷出来那么神,不过还是算很不错的。
Dae Ji Gal Bi was delicious too. Pork spare ribs marinated with traditional Korean recipe. Dae Ji Gal Bi @ RM 30
Dakgalbi at Jin Jin Soo Ra, Mont Kiara #malaysiafoodie #koreanfood
Delicious Korean food, no complain.
Here’s a hidden gem in Plaza Mont Kiara. After boxing class on Friday night, we met up with some friends at JinJin Soora 진진수라. Operated by a Korean family, they offer Korean BBQ but what really stood out were the set meals.
Verdict: So after reading the post, you know that my dining experience was a satisfying and impressive one. (^^)v
Overall, we enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken at Nanda Chicken Solaris Mount Kiara. Their version of Korean crispy boneless fried chicken is similar to the ones we tasted in Korea and hence you get the satisfaction dining here. We will definitely visit them again if we are in Solaris Mount Kiara.
Nanda Chicken is a Korean restaurant that serves Korean fried chicken with fondue-style snow cheese. Nanda Chicken Korean restaurant is always full when we go pass this area a few times. It was the crowd and the long queue that attracts our attention to try Nanda chicken last weekend.
Food was absolutely fantastic!! Definitely returning and recommending to everyone!
Goobne Chicken is known as Korea No.1 Oven Roasted Chicken is open their first store in Malaysia, which is located at MyTOWN Shopping Centre!
Cheese Fondue Chicken RM61.90 This is a very sinful dish! Sweet and spicy boneless roasted chickens on a bed of cheese, twirling the gooey cheesy around the chicken while heat up. Oh my god! can you imagine the hot cheesy covered the flavourful chicken in your mouth? It was so nice!
This reminded me of a chowder bread bowl except that the bread bowl was an eggplant bowl and the chowder was cuts of more eggplants, capsicums, potatoes and mushrooms. The miso sauce was the soul of this dish to me because it definitely elevated this whole plate of eggplant-goodness. And also, this tasted sweet.
Spicy Salmon Sashimi (RM 28.80) One of my favourites of the night is the thick-cut salmon with the special spicy lime shoyu sauce with water melon The taste comes incredibly good and I love the zesty with the umami twist!
Holy Crepe RM24. Freshly made crepe, folded with dragon fruits, cream, ice cream. Looks huge but is quite a light treat, not too sweet. We managed to polish clean the whole plate easily even after all the savouries, so we guess you too won’t have problem finishing this!
I must say though, here at Seoulnami, the raw Beef Platter Board (RM119) consisting of the trio of Bugolgi, Beef Rib Fingers and Beef Belly was the prettiest raw selection I’ve seen. The red colour really pops and the meat looks so fresh and inviting that you’d imagine it can almost be eaten as it is (of course not, lah … but it really looks so beautiful!)
Simple but utterly delectable, we find them incredibly appealing. Both the original and spicy versions have their appeal. Talk about rice-ing to the occasion in wrapping up a Korean BBQ experience at SeoulNami.
The Gold Set is really value-for-money and easily feeds at least 6 adults. There are plenty of other smaller or bigger sets and even sets with drinking options if you enjoy beer, soju or makgeolli. We know why Gangnam 88 is still a popular hotspot for Korean food in Solaris. The ambiance and vibe is certainly pleasant and the food is scrumptious as well as affordable. That evening, the restaurant was packed but service was efficient despite the crowd. Definitely a good spot for Korean food!
Verdict: The Gold Set we had was a fully loaded portion good enough for 5-6 persons that’s great value for money. Reasons to visit? Cheerful ambience, attentive service and great food, if these not enough to attract you, maybe I should spend more time to find you a better one. Gangnam 88 certainly a great place for gathering, be it for friends or families.
Volcano Fried Rice was damn good. Perfectly cooked, fried rice with my all-time favourite scramble eggs, YUM!!
Shinmapo is fast becoming my favorite restaurant in The Gardens Mall. Last year, I went there and had Korean BBQ on my birthday and then when my brother was back for his holidays, we went there again! During the last visit, we saw that they do a Happy Hour promotion on weekdays from 3pm-5pm (public holidays excluded), whereby for every 2 plates of meat, you get one FREE! (*from a selected menu) ... That's my kind of Happy Hour for sure!
It’s highly affordable price, friendly staffs and great services drew crowd fast. May they maintain these standards and we’re happy to return of course! Signature Set A (for 1-2 pax) – RM88 Comes with pork skirt, pork belly, marinated pork collar, mix grilled platter, army stew, refillable side dishes, and signature kimchi egg crust! This set is more than enough to feed us 2!
The set up is very humble and cozy. You won't see any haze in this restaurant like you used to see in other Korean restaurant where they will cook in front of you. This restaurant's policy is no cooking in front of their customer. So if you like to see your food prepared right in front of you, this is not the restaurant you are looking for.
Overall, I really satisfied with the food and the environment that Mi Na Rae had offered. I will come back for it. Maybe I shall visit them when I come back from Kedah. Till then!! :)
San Nae Deul has been in town for several years now but recently have been gaining popularity with their Lunch and Dinner Buffet deals.
San Nae Deul Bangsar is a recommended place to fix your craving for Korean foods!
来到这里, 不要忘了来喝下他们的灯泡饮料吧~
Kung Jung Korean Restaurant is still one of our favourite spots in KL for good Korean BBQ. Sure the prices might be higher than peers – but this is more than justified by the quality and service.
Kung Jung offers both BBQ and plated dishes. The Charbroiled Fresh Spare Ribs (생갈비구이) for RM88 is excellent – high quality fresh meat with some lovely marbling. It was cooked perfectly tender and goes very well with the sauces.
My favourite of the Korean experience was a special soju, only (apparently) available at Kung Jung. The smoothness of this soju; its light flavour and aroma, and ease of drinking was marvellous. Consider it the champagne of soju – you’ve hit the motherload enjoying this one
I took my friend to eat the bingsu at HanBing, Bangsar and she ordered soy sauce chicken as well. I believe the above dish costs about MYR 19.60 and it was not as tasty as other soy sauce chicken that we have eaten elsewhere.
We are back at Han Bing, Bangsar to try the Mango Ice at MYR 30.30 nett after the delicious Strawberry Ice. The ice is not too sweet so it is very tasty to me and mango is one of my favourite fruit so I like this ice.
The very next day, my family and I went to Hanbing again for their weekday set lunch that includes a mini bingsu.
Ala carte menu - 3 drumsticks cost MYR 15+ 6% SST = MYR 15.90 nett
We ordered the 6 pcs wings combo (RM20.90), which comes with fries and drink as well as 3 pcs chicken drumstick (RM15.90). We had the wings with soy garlic glaze, and for the drumsticks, we had a mix of soy and hot. The wings were very tasty - crispy skin, with nice flavour on the meat. Hubby enjoyed the drumsticks too, juicy and meaty. We went for seaweed fries, which was nice and crispy too. We would definitely come back the next time we have craving for chicken wings.
Verdict: Overall, the food at Buldojang are above average and they are something we rather accustomed to, like meat in sweet and sour flavour or Korean style spicy broth. Portion wise, it compatibles with the price charged, although it’s on the higher side.
The Spicy Seafood Noodle @ RM25 is the main reason we came here. It got excellent reviews from the Korean diners with many backing its authentic taste. To give you an idea on how large the serving size is, imagine a slightly bigger ramen bowl filled with noodle and covered with loads of seafood. The portion is surely enough to be shared by two ladies, while the average guy may struggle to finish it. Flavor wise I am confident that you will not be disappointed. The seafood tasted fresh and we especially loved the squid, which was given in thick chunks and cooked perfectly. As for the soup, the easiest way to describe it is a spicier and thicker prawn mee soup. It was delicious and I drank all of it. If I had to nitpick, the clams didn’t do much for me because they had so little flesh.
For fans of Korean BBQs, this is certainly a place to consider for reasonably priced BBQ meats with a twist of wrapping your meat in juicy apple slices. Overall taste was definitely respectable although I can't say if I tasted any difference in the meat being marinated overnight in apple sauce for 24 hours! >_< If you want to eat here, get ready to be drenched in sweat as the place is freakin' warm...even inside the air-conditioned restaurant. The place is open with far too few air-conditioner units to be able to cool the place down. So, it makes little difference if you opt for seats inside or outside...it's still hot! I can just imagine those eating bowls of hot ramyun and sweating bucket loads. So, make sure you have your hair up (ladies and some gentlemen) and wear something minimal light and comfortable when you head here for your "free sauna"...kikiki! :D
Special attention is that the store does not accept the appointment, we directly on the line Walk In on the line!
A great Korean BBQ joint, speciality being the pork (belly, sausage, ribs) which is firstly marinated with apples then cooked over the bbq using apple wood.
Happy Hour beers until 8pm are Tiger (5 for rm$60) and Guinness (5 for rm$70).
8/10 Stars Price :Expensive (RM40-RM60 for per person) Services :Good Environment : Cooling & Live Band Food Type : Western/Korean/Bar/Snacks/coffee/dessert Status : NON-Halal
内部真的是独一无二的,它类似于一个秘密花园。它们融合了现代风格的木制桌子和悬挂式植物,为这个空间提供了另一种感觉。
The Boneless Prime Short Ribs and Marinated Beef Ribs are cautiously grilled over coal fire; the former choice offers a meaty but clean beefy taste while the latter option has a delicate sweetness to it (due to the marination).
Reasons to visit: a contemporary Korean barbecue experience; high-quality cuts of meat; free-corkage on all wine!
