Asian BBQ takes centrestage at the dinner buffet (630 pm – 1030 pm) every Thursday night at Pasar Baru all day dining restaurant, Le Meridien Petaling Jaya. Priced at RM98 nett per adult and RM49 nett per child, eat to your heart’s content the plethora of barbecued fare, hot off the grill.
The Santapan Warisan buffet features several action counters where à la minute dishes are prepared.

Dining at Wood & Grill is a pricey endeavour, but everything we ordered was delicious and with large portion sizes. The grilled octopus was a standout. If we came here again, we would both likely order something from the Nyonya Grill section. Although, I am tempted by the shockingly priced RM60 beef rendang.
The roasted chicken is soft and juicy (just like having traditional Malay’s chicken rice), but no longer tender since the meat is already cooked well done, yet still tastes heavenly good while enjoying it with rice and chicken soy sauce.
Initially, I wanted to try Chicken Rendang but it was SOLD OUT so I have no choice but to order Beef Rendang. I never tried any Beef Rendang before and they just nailed it. Beef Rendang was tender, juicy and irresistible delicious. Everything in the plate was good and I have no complaints about it. Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang @ RM 11.90
Overall, it was an okay lunch for me. Food taste okay and the pumpkin was good. If you are big fan of chicken, then you can drop by to try as they have varieties of chicken dishes from fried chicken-to-chicken Korma. The total bill was RM 5.10, consider cheap for the bigger portion.
