Chicken @ RM 45, add on with bentong ginger and lotus crips. As for this dish, I have no idea what to say as for us being local, we had too much street food and I felt that I am just eating “atas” Hainanese Chicken. not much twist of it. Too normal for my liking even knowing the meat is sous vide.

3 tiny hoppers, 2 cocktails came up to RM126. Not even kidding you, these aren't fancy food that's worth RM126. Without the cocktail it would be fairly more reasonable. Will I return again? Perhaps yes - but I'll be more careful with the choices, no more peppered goat and cocktails. Honestly, it is very difficult to for us to have the urge to return if us consumers don't feel the value we are paying for. Nevertheless, something that's worth the credits - this idea is very interesting and very Instagram-friendly.

Taste:9/10(Delicious. I like their peanut sauce chicken as the meat is tender and the rich and creamy peanut sauce flavour absorbed into the chicken, makes this dish quite good. The oxtail soup is tasty with strong aromatic of local spices flavour. The soup is thick and the broth is tasty with their rice. The daging rendang Selangor is good but its not that memorable. The meat still not tender enough and this type of rendang is a bit wet. Bubur som som dessert is very good if you like very sweet stuff. I personally like the dessert. But if you don't like sweet, I don't think you will like such super intense sweetness of gula Melaka).

I find it delicious because I like the taste of the red rose syrup, vanilla ice cream and all the ingredients such as longan, corn, red beans, peanuts put together. They are also very smart to serve the coconut syrup separately in a small jug without me having to request them to do so. This way, I could adjust the sweetness to my preference. The coconut syrup tastes very strongly of coconut - just like those coconut candy wrapped in colourful transparent foil that we used to eat when young - which my friend does not like because she does not like the taste of coconut.

Just like the fish, the it was marinated in turmeric as well and boy was it flavorful. Just look at them ‘sotongs’ , yummmm! It was all crunchy on the outside and all soft and chewy on the inside. Don’t be deceived by the plain sight of the Ah Ran Sini balls. These are deliciously addictive. Inspired by the Italian classic arancini, the culinary team at SPG by Bijan takes our much beloved nasi lemak and turned them into these scrumptious balls. Coconut rice stuffed with sambal and nuts, deep fried till crispy and golden then served with a tasty anchovy mayo sauce. So yummy that one can keep popping these happily!

My Personal Opinion It serves one of the more crispy roti canai/telur I know and their sambal (which is closer to a Malay-style sambal) is pretty good too (I guess having Malay cooks help in this aspect as their goreng goreng dishes work). I also like that the place is considerably cleaner (and brighter) than most mamaks I've been to.
