Here's the location.
The Buah Keluak Chicken was beautifully marinated, the sauce was expertly concocted... the Buah Keluak Sauce was something like blended Olives with a sleek bitterness, quite an acquired taste but the Chef had done wonders on the Chicken and amalgamated with the sauce perfectly. The dish might be a little expensive but trust me, the flavors are one of a kind
We decided to go with Peng Hu (RM 28). The fish was grilled to perfection in banana leaves, and was nice to enjoy itself without the condiments actually. Of course, the condiments elevated the dish into a higher level. This is probably one of the best marinated grilled fish without char that we really enjoyed.
Aboo Backer's Roti Canai was exactly what I expected from an authentic one- hot, crispy and served with an array of lusciously rich Curries. Instead of devouring the Roti Bakar with the Half Boiled Eggs, I decided to try on Roti Canai and they worked well like a magic charm. The Chicken Curry went well with the Roti... slightly sweet but packed a Chili punch. The Beef Kurma was a little tough on texture but nevertheless, a good addition to the variety.
If your tastes run to a full meal of nasi kandar, there is a delicious selection of dishes with intricate flavors to go with rice. Just pick the kind of dishes you want. The simple menu focuses on freshness prepared with the use of spices. The chicken dish is the one popular option. The outlet serves the poultry several ways: ayam goreng (deep-fried), ayam masala, ayam kurma, ayam bawang or ayam ros in dark sauce with intense savory flavors.
