Lucha Loco Duxton Hill - Mexican Cocina Y Mezcaleria is a lively restaurant in Singapore that serves authentic Mexican food and mezcal cocktails.
I definitely come back for the food and the ambience here with a bunch of friends.
The decor at Comida Mexicana is certainly loud – vibrant colours and bold paintings.
The food's good, but be prepared to fork out some dough for it.
I really like the Mash Avocado Sopes ($20 for 3). I first tried Sopes earlier this year in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
I tasted 10 dishes and liked 8.5; some of them, I liked immoderately. It’s a homely, fun casual restaurant, suitable for friends’ gatherings, after-work, or just a fiesta. It’s worth visiting at least once, more times if you go with different groups of friends.
I've never been to Gaggan in Bangkok, but I was able to get seats at his casual offshoot down here tonight (43 Craig Road, 9654-4351).
Some hits and misses on the menu for me and generally, the more Indian-centric dishes like the curry and biryani fared better for me than the Mexican-inspired elements like the tacos. There is much hype about the Gaggan brand and if this is one restaurant you are curious to try regardless, manage your expectations.

All in all, it was good enough that the dips that they were selling was almost (I'll explain why it's almost) unnecessary.
If you work in the Telok Ayer area, you’d be pleased to know that Chico Loco opens bright and early for breakfast (8am to 11am) and stays open till late.
下班后到这里小酌一杯,轻快乐声伴着鸡尾酒,心情转入度假模式,凭栏坐拥海湾景观,越夜越high。
And olive cake with mascarpone and olive oil. Their olive oil was very good.
Super Loco Customs House is only a few months old, but judging from how packed it was the evening I was there, it feels like a Mexican bar and restaurant in the middle of the Central Business District wasn’t a super crazy idea after all.
El Mero Mero is making me want to visit Mexico so badly! Well for now, at least there's some good Mexican food to tide me over till i visit.
I enjoyed most of the dishes and definitely looking forward to visit them again.
If you are looking for something more exotic for your next date or group meal, this is worthy of a try.
Papi’s Tacos has been on my list for awhile to try, as I love tacos. One lunchtime I stopped by to fulfill my craving. I went for Tacos de Chorizo and Tacos de Suadero.
Mexican Street Food at its finest, drop by Papi’s Tacos @ Seah Street & be blown away by the quality of the food and the margaritas which rock
I normally don't bother with Mexican food in Singapore. So when I first heard about this place (39 Seah Street, 6258-0701), I quickly dismissed it.
Nice range of Mexican food and drinks in a pleasant setting and happy vibes.
There is a charming vibe around Robertson Quay and a Mexican restaurant like Super Loco Robertson Quay is a nice space for a weekend brunch.
Another must-try, was the Pulled Pork Tortas ($15), with slow-braised pork shoulder, apple slaw, refried beans, and habanero mayo.

Service was pretty good, and we liked that the servers took time to briefly run through the dishes whenever they were served.
Chimi’s is basically an Al Fresco Mexican Cantina with breathtaking views
Huevos High-Quality Mexican Food & Drinks
Their breakfast burrito was not bad.
It’s a great after-work hangout, especially for those with a penchant for spicy flavours. They also offer punchy mocktails and house-made dessert tacos to end your night on a sweet note. There’s wifi available here too!
Chimichanga Paya Lebar is a new Mexican restaurant bar at PLQ serving tacos, quesadillas, hand-crafted cocktails & freshly brewed beer.
The fish tacos had a nice contrast in textures and flavours. The fish was crispy outside and soft inside, and the sauce had layered flavours or sweet, sour and slightly tart.
Hainanese Curry Rice that is popular in Clementi. What’s your view?
This is the place to go for homely cooking, it has a motherly taste in it though simple but is so satisfying.
Ambience at Lower East Side Taqueria is retro industrial, yet vibrant and quirky.
Pricing wise and dishes, I think I still prefer Kraft Kitchen’s sister outlet Craze Kitchen, also available in Tampines. I particularly like Craze Kitchen’s flexible menu which allows you to choose the sauce, pasta type and meat for your pasta dish. More on that in my next post.
I know I will definitely be back for the pulled pork dishes and to try the breakfast burrito!
