High class Pakistan food, we probably ordered too much. Food is nice, but i wasn't impressed by anything in particular. Maybe too expensive while the food is not good enough for the price point.
Overall verdict: Food is not bad. It is my first time having Sri Lankan food so I don’t have a comparable review to make. I think the flavours are very similar to Indian food. So if you like briyani rice and chicken curry, you’d probably enjoy this.
My recent visit to Aliyaa is a satisfying experience exploring flavours from the region, and the best part is that we get to save a lot on this meal by enjoying the Buy 1 FREE 1 Main Course deal via The ENTERTAINER App! In conjunction to its 10th anniversary, Aliyaa Island Restaurant will be hosting a Jaffna Food Festival, a showcase of over 50 dishes from the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. A special guest chef will be joining the team to create authentic Jaffna cuisine throughout the 4-day period. Whereas the restaurant will also transform into a ‘Little Jaffna’ throughout the festival with traditional decorations that will take you on a ‘Journey to Yalpanam’. This buffet-style celebration will be available for Lunch and Dinner, with the first session open on the evening of October 30th until November 2nd. It is RM148++ per pax inclusive of a traditional welcome drink.
Gin Rik Sha has definitely redefined Indian cuisine with their modern interpretation.
总的来说,Gin Rik Sha确实是一家不错的印度餐厅。
Verdict: To be honest, Indian cuisine most probably one of my least favourite food but I left gin rik sha feeling satiated the food we had was good enough to contemplate returning to check out the remainder of the menu.
Reasons to visit JungleBird KL: Rum! The Cubano, real food, epic cocktails, awesome conversations, mini staycation.
KL’s temple of rum has a new home in the same neighbourhood. From new all-day opening hours and a new ambiance to an enticing new food menu and a new cocktail ethos, here’s what you need to know.

Reasons to visit: Nomi Tomo is the only speciality sake bar in Kuala Lumpur and you are sure to find some variation that you will absolutely love; if you’ve never had sparkling sake you are seriously missing out; the quintessentially Japanese atmosphere makes you forget that you are in the heart of KL
When comes to Friday night, it is really indeed no idea where to hit on for drinking area, till I was recommended to this cool new place by my friend. Nomi Tomo Sake Bar is located in the heart of Bukit Damansara, KL. A bit of like speakseasy bar as where it is located on the 3rd floor of a shop lot. Below is one of the famous cafe – Huckleberry.
Just in case you may get confused after rounds and rounds of Sake tasting, the wall of Nomi Tomo is filled with the chart of flavours and pricing for each sake. It definitely eases the process of choosing your favourite sake here!
The menu items are more expensive than they need to be, but much of it seems to have a little something extra to make it unique. If you’re trying a new diet like paleo or keto, Huckleberry will have more options than most. The cakes and pastries are quite reasonably priced, and coming here for coffee and a snack would cost less than at other upscale cafes. If it weren’t so busy all the time, I would certainly return to Huckleberry to try more of their food. However, I abhor waiting for an hour just to eat somewhere and can likely only come back on an auspicious day such as this. If you want to get in here without a ridiculous wait, you should try our strategy of visiting during a holiday when many people are out of the city.

Reasons to try out Meatless Monday at Kikubari, DC Mall: it’s a culinary journey, not just a meal out; the kitchen team have nailed both taste and presentation; stylish and intimate setting; incredible wine and sake menu; a gentle introduction to meat-free eating.
Reasons to visit: Pairing sake with food brings out the amazing flavour notes of an understated and lesser-known liquor; Chef Jun is amazingly creative and talented and deserves to be recognized for her vision and skills; the Ebi-katsu Sandwich might be one of the best things you eat in 2018; french fries are always good, but french fries cooked in beef fat and mounded with truffle shavings are unreal.
[Pork-free] ¡Hola! A couple of months ago, we checked out Char Line asado + bar for some Uruguay-inspired fire-wood grilled goodness.
Katsu Chicken Sando For me, I am totally in love with the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu comes amazingly delicious with the tender juicy deep fried chicken sandwiched with the Japanese milk bread and ended with the red cabbage dressing in ponzu sauce. The fragrant bread combined with the juicy chicken give you with a double thumbs up!
OxTail Bakar was the recommended dish and also chef signature. @ RM 58 – 6 hours stout and cider braised oxtail then charred. It is so UMAMI!. Punch with solid strong flavour yet it is caramlise from the sauce reduction. Meat is so soft that it peals off easily from the bone. – Bone licking good. Recommended
A quaint Japanese bar tucked in theart of Damansara Heights. Serving delectable japas, makis and house infused sakes!

Happy Stan at Republik Damansara Heights is a cozy place that offers coffee during the day, and cocktails at night.
Grilled Lamb Rack was an idea from Gabriel Thang where you get New Zealand grass-fed lamb rack chops crusted with herbs, served with mushroom sauce, homemade yogurt mint sauce, white truffle potato mash and sautéed vegetables (RM59). Loved the mash as it was creamy and rich. The lamb was nicely still pink, moist and tender, with the yogurt mint sauce giving a different spin to the usual mint sauce.
We love the Sakura Premium Pork Slice (RM 15 ( Half) | RM 25 ( Full)) , Sakura Pork Belly ( RM 13 ( Half)| RM 25 ( Full) ) which come real good and every mouthful are just heavenly. Swish swish the meat in the hot pot and you can taste the fragrant and juicy meat of it. Don’t miss out their pork balls as well where they have them with the cheese in it. The ooziness of the cheese coming out with just a bite of it. Hu La La … That’s just awesome!
Reasons to visit: A relaxed and creative atmosphere that will leave you craving their inventive cocktails and enjoying their unique combinations of food. The entire staff is warm, engaging and friendly, which adds to the welcoming vibe and will only lead to the start of a great new society. Cocktail-wise, don’t miss the Shenanigans, the Rum Rummer or The Scientist!
