The highlight of the day was the popular Berkshire Ribs, loved by diners. Extremely tender and juicy, roasted to perfection, the taste of the Berkshire's ribs took centre stage with its nicely charred thick chunk of meat, providing a toothsome bite. A must-try dish for all pork-lovers!
One must try is the Roasted Crackling Pork Belly. The Pork Belly is perfectly an indulgence where the meat comes simply juicy with the cracking skin. They are accompanied with the honey mustard sauce. They are indeed impressive!
This has got to be my favourite (as hinted earlier, hehe) for it somehow reminds me of the delish pulled pork which is not so commonly served nowadays. I like the fact that the layer of croquette is crisply done just nice, not so thick that it complements the braised Berkshire’s meat well and helps to bring up its flavour instead. It is also very moist and tender, packed with robust tang that gets me hooked on to it spoon after spoon. Indeed very well done!

Our favourite was the Smoked Beef and Rocket (RM49). Guys, this was lovely – beef is sufficiently smoked for 14 hours, so it complements (and doesn’t overwhelm) the pop of arugula and fresh tomato tart.

If Crust could just be a little more generous with the toppings, their pizzas would be perfect. I still prefer the pizzas at Crust over the ones at nearby Porto Romano or even Eataly because I am so fucking sick of ultra-thin cracker crusts that I’m willing to sacrifice the rest of the pie for a great crust. As for the burger, I can honestly say that Crust has the best beef burger in Mont Kiara at this time, but it’s barely a competition considering the lack of other options in the area. This makes Crust our new place to fill our pizza and burger cravings when we can’t be arsed to go to Desa Sri Hartamas where there are better, cheaper options. Crust is certainly pricey, so this will not be a restaurant that we visit regularly.

Reasons to visit Crust KL: a lovely setting with indoor and outdoor spaces, excellent gluten-free and vegan options; we really like the texture of their pizza crust; I loved the Figaro pizza, Rich thought the best-selling status of the Cheeseburger well-deserved, and we’d all order the Middle Eastern Platter again.
Overall their pizza tasted delicious and the unique oil-free screening process produces a crispy crust with a soft center and their pizza is hand-tossed with premium flour and 100% premium cheese to makes the best American Pizza in town.

Eatalia by Brava at Desa Sri Hartamas KL, or formerly known as Pizza Brava, has been serving authentic Italian food in town for a few good years. Getting a parking to dine here can be tedious especially during dinner hours, but it is worth spending some time looking for a parking lot, then have a lovely night enjoying pasta, pizza, wine toasting.
In terms of taste, of course it can't beat made-to-order pizza. At least the filling and cheese were rather adequate. Would I go back there again? Heck, no. If I'm going to have carbs, it better damn well be well worth it. On a plus point, it is better than Mikey's.
Overall the portion comes pretty huge and taste wise is pretty good. If you are looking for a “take & go” pizza; consider Pezzo.

Cheese-Sang Cheesy Bites tastes so-so to us. We were expecting something gooey cheesy goodness from the Pizza however; it tasted rubbery with too many ingredients in it like Cheese, Salted Egg and Fried Prawns. All in all, combination turns out to be weirder rather than being interesting

For my lunch that day, I selected deep fried white fish fillet at MYR 15.90 nett. Passable only. I kept one piece for dinner.
The Classic Roman Marinated Rack of Lamb @ RM78.00 is also a new item on the menu. The rack of lamb was in marinated in classic Roman-style and was then grilled to the doneness of your choosing – best is medium raw and served with spinach cream and mashed potatoes with parmagiana sauce. Since our lamb was cooked medium raw, it was pink and slightly bloody in the middle. This is easily the best dish of the night.
Reasons to visit Eatalia Bangsar: relaxed, friendly and attractive setting; wood-fired oven; complimentary pizza making classes for kids on Sunday; we loved all of the antipasti with vibrant, super-fresh veggies; the rustic pumpkin soup was yum and our favourite main was the chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach; white wine lovers should enjoy Taylors Wines Clare Riesling – it’s a delicious drop.
We absolutely loved the thin crust, crisp and just enough thickness to hold the toppings together. There are over 20 types of pizza to choose from. We went for the bestseller, Hawaiian (RM21 for 10", RM28 for 12") which is topped with tomatoes, cheese, pineappe and hand-torn grilled chicken... SO GOOD!
So, there you go folks. If you fancy a “quieter” Mikey’s with equally as delicious pizza servings – do head on over to their branch at Citta Mall.

If you ask which is my best recommendation for this Marvel Pizza restaurant, you can try the popular Chef Khairul'a Spicy Chicken which many people enjoy. So I decided to try it out. When I tasted it, I was surprised that it was very spicy, and my mouth also became spicy. This spiciness is too much for me.
