Update: I did return, and when not busy it was a very different experience. Staff were more friendly, and got the order right. There had also been changes to the menu to bring in more interesting options. It’s still an expensive alternative to other sandwich shops, but much less frustration means you’ll feel you get more for that money. I have upgraded the score as a result.
We had one of their signature salads- Mush Much Salad, served with Cajun Grilled Chicken and Balsamic Vinaigrette. The salad consisted of roasted Pumpkin, Corns, stir fried Shimeiji Mushrooms, roasted Cauliflower and Fusilli Pasta... on a bed of greens. The flavor combo was amazing and the bite was multi-dimensional. The Corns were essential here... for the burst of juice and a hint of sweetness. The Chicken however, was a little too dry and rough to our liking.
However, if you prefer a salad that relies on the usage of Asian sauce and ingredients, the Penyet Chicken Salad is an ideal choice. This salad farm signature bowl is all speckled with fresh green leafy, diced Japanese cucumber, long beans, red and yellow cherry tomatoes, onions, tempeh, and chicken. The dish is taken to a new taste level with sambal penyet dressing and grounded peanut toppings. Mix it well together and you will get a flavorful, and slightly spicy pile of deliciousness.

This was truly delicious and I was suitably impressed. In fact as someone running a tiny, hobby-based healthy food business myself, I had to admit I’ll charge more than RM22.90 for this!
