The Feather Blade definitely attracts a younger dining crowd with its competitive pricing and location in the buzzing Tanjong Pagar Road which is surrounded by numerous Korean restaurants. You can’t go wrong with their steak here, and if you fancy, some cocktails to go along.
It’s a place—price-point and food-wise—that young people would like.
Really adult and almost manly handshake burger, which was an off the menu item.
Les Bouchons runs a pretty generous weekday set lunch that I treated myself to today.
The meal in general was really good and the portions were plentiful. But this place is so underrated! It’s probably one of the rare French restaurants that don’t charge exorbitant prices for their food.
With its friendly and efficient service, unpretentious offerings and excellent steak frites, we will definitely continue to patronise the restaurant.
Overall, it was a pleasure dining at Picanhas’ and Panquecas’. The picanha steak and ribeye combo are a must-try, while their Apam Balik is just a flavour bomb. Will definitely return for these two great dishes. Cheers!!
Head down here if you’re sick of the mainstream steakhouse, and are looking to try a secondary cut such as the Picanha!
The restaurant is muslim-friendly and there are no alcohol served here. For non-alcoholic drinkers, you can enjoy your mocktails or alcohol free wine while enjoying the affordable steak without burning a hole in your pocket.
Overall, we find the food are delicious and this pop up allows foodies to try out different types of meat from different suppliers worldwide.
Modestly seasoned without overwhelming the natural flavour of the beef, the Butler’s Steak comes with a simple side salad and a serving of rock salt that really helps to bring out the natural flavours of the black Angus.
The Butler’s Steak makes a great option for a slightly more affordable option for steak in the area; a good addition to the Keong Saik/Jiak Chun neighbourhood that one can consider dining at.
I would say come for the beef at Wagyu X, which is unsurprisingly the best part of my meal here. The prices for the Wagyu beef are a tad high, which is probably by virtue of the rarity of this breed of Hokkaido beef the restaurant uses. Starters and desserts could be skipped.
Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience here at Jerry's very much, and look forward to returning for more of their hearty, sumptuous food paired with excellent service.
