The beef was sliced to a nice thickness and the rolled slices were neatly presented. The platter of vegetables, mushrooms and beacurd was of a sizeable portion.
This hotpot restaurant is surely a spot I would think of especially when it’s sweater weather or when I’m craving something hearty to warm my stomach.

Mermaid Steamboat is located in hawker centre in Circuit Road. It was extremely clean, and comfortable to sit in – the fans were rather strong which meant we didn’t feel too warm and there weren’t many insects swarming around.
UPOT at Singpost Centre is one of those places I went without doing any research, entered due to the ‘cold-weather’ hotpot mood.
Their meats and seafood are definitely why I would wanna come back, plus I love how the veggies that come with the broth pick up the flavours of the soup.
