What’s Buzzing? In conjunction with its 8th anniversary, Beauty in The Pot seeks to thank all ladies who make the brand the success it is today with a special Ladies Promotion. Specially for The La…
The services here are generally good.
We did recognise some of the staff from OneKM Mall there, which lent a nice familiarity to the place.
The time-limit was good to prevent us from over-ordering and over-eating.
Fans of the ramen place can rejoice because they have launched a Hearty Shrimp broth made from big prawns baked, hand ground till fine and simmered for more than eight hours with premium conpoy, clams and spices for more oomph.
Enjoying the food with a group of friends at Beauty In The Pot at The Star Vista is surely a good way to end the work week and especially for supper.
I definitely ate more than I should, the food was way more than enough for 7 of us and burp.
I've lost count of the number of times I've dined at BITP but I know I'll definitely visit again real soon. I just can't get enough of their signature soup and fried fish skin!
The service is excellent but I felt extremely uncomfortable when they bowed 90 degrees to us every time after they served us.
Yu Chun Fish Head Curry is known to many, but not well-known at the same time. Located near Tai Seng MRT, it has a mean Curry Fish Head.
Yu Cun is another fantastic recommendation of a hidden gem by Ron, whose past endorsements of Gu Ma Jia and Chui Xiang Kitchen have all been bang-on.
A must try place for claypot curry fish head and zi char.
I know that I've had a lot of hot pot lately, but I needed lunch today, and this place happened to be nearby (6 Eu Tong Sen Street #03-87, 6221-5550). It seems to be a chain started by some Haidilao alumni, right across the river from the latter's original Clarke Quay location.
I liked the food, including a broth that was filled with a nice assortment of mushrooms, as well as a decently well-stocked seasoning bar.
I would say service here was decent, though not as over-the-top as HDL.
The perfect place to experience some old school Hainanese comfort food!
Mediocre steamboat and bad service, there is very little reason to be here except for nostalgic reasons and the Hainanese Chicken Rice.
The food is good, especially the chicken rice, and they will hear some things that delve a bit deeper about Singaporeans.
Beauty In The Pot’s latest outlet at NEX, Serangoon opened this October with magical unicorn wonderland theme.
吃完火锅后,餐馆里的雪糕推车还有提供免费雪糕,配合新店的独角兽主题,这里推出的雪糕也是粉红紫蓝交织的独角兽色系,送完为止。
There will be a unicorm ice-cream trolley that comes to the table to serve you. The ice-cream is only available from 5 October onwards.
Finally, I can strike off COCA from my list. Comparing the hot pot restaurants available in Singapore, there are better ones out there.
we couldn’t leave without also trying the Flaming Huadiao Phoenix Broth. This update of the old, clear chicken broth is double-boiled for eight hours to achieve its milky richness.
Mala Fish Skin is quite addictive and surprisingly the spiciness and numbness is still within my limits.
Taikoo Lane Hotpot Review: Chinatown Point
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Tong Xin Ru Yi definitely provides a more upmarket hotpot experience from the mass brands in the market today.
What is really intriguing is the Sliced Black Bone Chicken ($20). I have never seen a black bone chicken, but I didn't know the meat is black too.
I would be back to try out other soup bases in the menu.
While it’s the perfect place to pop by for lunch or dinner, Wu Wang Guo 勿忘锅 Hot Pot is also a great supper spot as they open till 3am!
The food was fine, but my cheap-bastard-hack of not paying for dipping sauces had its limits: it took a while for me to coax the taste of pork and vegetables into the plain water, and I still had to spike it with sodium from my selected mala broth.
Yanxi Dim Sum & Hotpot has been rebranded recently to include an exciting dim sum menu on top of their hotpot.
To be honest, I am totally awe with the creation, detailing and the presentation of the dishes here.
餐馆就位于酒店原本的宴会厅,地方宽敞,免费停车,环境清幽,绝对是闹中取静的休闲好去处。
If you’re really hungry and are around the Ang Mo Kio area, Phuket Town Mookata is worth a try.

With such an extensive variety of ingredients and two cooking methods, you’re bound to be satisfied.
I would recommend their pre-mixed Chaoniu dipping sauce which complements the tender beef excellently.
The owner is very passionate about the food and has done a lot of work to meticulously source the beef but most impressive is his insistence on pounding the beef by hand to make beef balls!
Overall, it was nice to found Teochew Beef Hotpot in Singapore. For those who never been to Shantou, this will be a good experience.
Coca Fragrant Laksa Hotpot Review by Chubby Botak Koala, Coca steamboat buffet review, coca steamboat buffet menu, Coca Hua Diao Phoenix Soup,
It is a delicious creation from COCA Restaurant. The flavours are robust, the ingredients are fresh and the broths are very generous.
Overall, it was a pleasure having a Thai steamboat at home.
Very nice. The ingredients in the pork, chicken or beef sets were presented in a box, and were substantial and fresh. Add-ons like pork liver and dumplings were tasty and affordable. Soup was clear and subtly flavourful. Sauces had kick.
Overall, One Pot offers home-style steamboat, but with premium ingredients. Reasonable pricing, friendly service, nostalgic location and enjoyable food. One Pot is one to return for.
What stood out for One Pot is its value for money hotpot with quality ingredients.
You can’t eat at Haidilao without going for their free-flow desserts. We particularly love the Chilled Beancurd Dessert.
