I would recommend their pre-mixed Chaoniu dipping sauce which complements the tender beef excellently.
The owner is very passionate about the food and has done a lot of work to meticulously source the beef but most impressive is his insistence on pounding the beef by hand to make beef balls!
Overall, it was nice to found Teochew Beef Hotpot in Singapore. For those who never been to Shantou, this will be a good experience.
We don’t go to any eatery expecting them to score on all dishes, but as long as there are a few outstanding ones, and most aren’t bad, I’d say, they’re worth a travel.
