BOTAN is a good place to mix food and alcohol.
I canβt wait to find friends who love Japanese food so that I could be back to Botan Japanese Restaurant soon.
Fresh stuff, wrapped with sticky rice and warm crispy seaweed. From left to right, up to down, hotate, salmon, shime saba, toro, crab and engawa.
All in all, RAPPU will be a good place to unwind with friends after work for some nibbles and tipples.
The handrolls here might not offer an authentic sushi bar experience, but Iβm thankful that it remains that way.
Salmon Samurai is definitely a health-conscious choice for lunch over in CBD area and their bowls of salmon are reasonably priced too.
Bowls start at $9.90 and a ton of supplementary options are available for superfoods, avocados and roe.
So loved the price and portion, could fine-tune in terms having more βtasteβ.
For the good value of the omakase, yes. While the seat is not very comfortable, the overall experience is still quite positive for me and I hope to be back again.
It sounds like a lot of food but by the end of the meal, we were comfortably full and on a post-sushi high.
Frills are minimal and the fish were carefully portioned.
Overall, the seafood was definitely the star of the restaurant with freshness almost straight from the market and served with the perfect thickness and cuts. In terms of price, it is relative to the quality of the ingredients. The hot food was ok and nice but nothing too different from other Japanese restaurants. I do not mind returning just for their seafood
The service was generally pleasant and the staffs greeted us with a smile for the whole time. It was a pleasant one and I hope to visit them soon for their Omakase.

Overall, I am glad to find the food by Chef Derrick again, even though the warmth has faded much over the years.
Overall, I had a great meal at Sushi Kawasemi and this is one new omakase to check out especially if you love aged fish for nigiris. Every course is consistently good, and it is one of the better omakase meals I had this year.
A very good meal, on the whole.
Fish was firm and flaky with that light crustacean-y aroma that I enjoyed.
Overall, we can certainly say that JJ.Com Fish Mart is one Japanese eatery that we will be adding to our list of favourite casual Japanese eateries and it is definitely one worth the visit.
