Overall, an interesting place for my business discussion, and a stunning one at that.
If you are looking for a nice quiet place to chillax in the midst of bustling Orchard (what an oxymoron) and have deep pockets to burn a hole in, this is it.
Greyhound Cafe is the perfect example of why I don't think an overseas outpost will ever fare as well as the original mothership.
Bangkok Jam has always been known for pushing the envelope on its desserts and always being right on trend.

Sanook Kitchen is a chain of casual Thai restaurants across the island, but interestingly, it's only the ION Orchard outlet that has the "Thai BBQ & Seafood" suffix attached.
Yentafo, our equivalent of Yong Tau Foo, is a pink noodle soup, originating from Thailand.
Though there were hits and misses, this makes a refreshing change from the YTF we’re used to at kopitiams. On days I want YTF that has a stronger punch of flavour, this would be my go-to.
Yentafo Kruengsonge is actually a very popular noodle house in Bangkok that specializes in yen ta fo noodle bowls which is a Thai noodle dish filled with a mix of ingredients such as seafood balls, strips of meat and veggies.
Kin Kao Young basically means "Have you eaten?". This new thai street food concept by Suki Group serves up a wide spread of authentic popular Thai dishes.
We stumbled upon Kin Kao Young at 313 Somerset while looking for dinner. It wasn’t crowded at the time, so we jumped on the chance to go.
This big brightly-lit place has taken over the grounds of Chabuton and Saboten (313 Orchard Road #B2-01). The way that they position themselves, it makes you think that it's a big famous chain from Thailand.
If we happen to be in the area and dunno what to eat or just want to eat something to fill our stomachs, we will definitely return to Pope Jai Thai.
Overall though, Pope Jai Thai surpassed my expectations for a good food delivery that was tasty, affordable and with heart.
This is also a guide dog friendly restaurant, with space for wheelchairs to manoeuvre. Pope Jai Thai also conduct regular stimulation with disabilities workshops in the restaurant for the public.
Overall, a great place to satisfy your cravings for luxurious Thai Teochew Cuisine. Their Braised Shark’s Fin Soup / Fish Maw soup or anything that is cooked with their Golden stock is a must-order here. The price is on the high side, but you are paying for quality. Cheers!!
The space between tables is very spacious, so you will have no problem walking around to get your ingredients.
Even though the ingredients were not of the highest quality, the buffet and mookata combo was a definite steal considering its price and location.
Diners are in for a treat at this multi concept buffet featuring steamboat, mookata and also cooked food!
Overall, we think the food served at Suanthai Restaurant was decent, closer to home-cooked meal.
Along the rows of restaurants in Killiney, you'd find this small Thai restaurant that fills up during lunch time on weekdays.
If you want to try Thai fusion dishes but aren’t ready for anything intense yet, Som Tam would be the place.
Portions are reasonable and with the exception of the Thai Basil Beef that packs a mild heat, the rest are friendly for diners who have spice aversions.
The broth is a bit sweet, although that shouldn't be too surprising (think: boat noodles).
It wasn't so outrageously spicy that I'd yearn to come back right away, but the shrimp were fresh and the seasoning was good enough.
Food served at Jai Siam was authentic and surely wallet friendly.
Great service! The service staff is quite attentive and they are very swift in their serving the dishes. Their dishes are presented nicely too.
