STG Tea House has always appeared in any browser search, being one of the beautiful cafes in Ipoh and indeed you would be mesmerized when you get here!
Their cakes and biscuits looks really delicious by the way.

Reasons to visit Jeff’s Cellar Ipoh: a unique and stunning location in a cave; ideal for special occasions.
It was a unique limestone cave dining and wining experience at the Jeff’s Cellar for guests from Ipoh, besides those traveling all the way from the states of Penang and Kuala Lumpur. The cellar features comfortable seating surrounded by formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
So yes, I'd totally recommend this place. No wonder everyone loves it here.
他们不在这里供应普通的蛋糕/甜点;共同拥有者妮可非常热衷于糕点和甜点。
Patisserie Boutique is a fresh entry on the row that now contains what looks like the highest concentration of hipster cafĂŠs in Ipoh's Old Town; it tries to bring a ...
Overall, the drinks I felt there is much more to improve.
Here's the location.
Grilled Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce (RM 19.90) The chicken is perfectly grilled till perfection and topped with the black pepper sauce. The aromatic sauce are perfectly paired with the delicious black pepper sauce with a light umph!
Some days you don’t need anything fancy. The food won’t blow your mind, but it is tasty and priced fairly. Although I do feel that the dining room could be brighter, I was put at ease by the family restaurant feel of this place. The staff today at Vintage Coffee & Bread were polite, attentive and patient to obvious out-of-towners like us. If I lived in Ipoh, I would come back here to get my kaya on bread fix. With their unintimidating menu that mixes Hainanese with familiar western elements, I would say that this would be a good place for cautious tourists to try some classic kopitam fare… or completely wimp out and order a tuna sandwich, whatever.

Sponge cake with kaya or coconut egg jam, very nice and fragrant.
The beef satay was very good. The meat was succulent and tasty. A thumbs up!
Guests can choose to sit inside or dine al fresco on the sand where tables and chairs are set up among the trees.
Rating 2.5/10. I wonder how can a 5-star resort serving 1-star foods? It baffled me. Are the foreigners' taste buds so different and so easy to placate. I overheard that some foreigners were staying here for a week and some even stayed here up to a month! What a waste! If there spend their time in Penang island, they'll really know how great Malaysia's foods are. This Pangkor Laut Resort's foods are really a disgrace!
The outlet is opened to the general public starting from today and if you are in Ipoh and is looking for a great steakhouse at affordable prices, do drop by this outlet.
Smoked Pork Knuckle
Crispy roast pork Aglio Olio @ RM 23.10
Go in a group, and you'll get to try more of their selection. Way to many chef recommended dishes.
The Old Town Kopitiam is located on Jalan Tun Sambanthan in Ipoh old town and near to Padang Ipoh . This Old Town Kopitiam is beautifully located inside a renovated pre-war shop house . Its exterior has been repainted while the internal is tastefully decorated with charming fixtures that really bring back the memory of the good old times .
We ordered a set with 3 pieces chicken for hubby and I to share. The set include a honey cheese biscuit and I ordered additional 3 pieces biscuits.
Their service is great too so, why wouldn't I recommend? Thumbs up!
After having our plan postponed twice, we finally get to have dinner at the Warehouse, Palo 101. It happened to be raining heavily that evening and it took us a while to find the entrance to the Warehouse, which is a food and brew place located at 189, Unit 3, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, Taman Jubilee, Ipoh.
Garden Cottage 推出的食物有泰国餐、中餐、西餐和日本餐,也有hot pot;价格还算合理!

One of the better place in Ipoh for a quality meal, bordering on fine dining yet you'll feel much relaxed in the comforting ambience. Serves Australian wagyu
Lamb chop from the Western food menu.
Reasons to visit: an Instagrammers heaven – so many nooks and crannies to capture; hearty value-for-money meals; fish and chips; good coffee; gelato with local flavours; berry-berries cheesecake.
You can't deny that the cafe has a rustic and quirky charm about it but it's a place you'd probably end up liking because of the decor and ambience more than the food. When we were there on a (school holiday) Monday at peak lunch time, the place was pretty empty with just one other table occupied. This is probably a far cry from its manic days when they first opened and were blazing through social media. But still a decent place to hang out over a cuppa (and soak in the quirky interior) or to rest your legs (for north or southbound travellers) ^_* I can't help but wonder why only Burps & Giggles remain to this day....I can only guess that having three cafes in the same row is stretching it a bit, especially so when customers dwindle down after the initial hoo-ha. I suppose that charm and arty ambience can only get you so far but when all is done and dusted, it's the (consistently good) food that will keep you in the game in the long haul! ;)
My Personal Opinion Though the food was alright, the portions were just too little. And the reason for that I suspect is because M Roof doesn't have their own F&B outlets and so have no control over what they serve. I say this because we weren't allowed to charge our extra order to our room (like we did in MH Hotel) but was asked to settle the bill directly with the cafe. The breakfast voucher actually cost RM17 (if we were to buy extras from the hotel). So, I can understand the reason for the small portions (if no subsidy is provided by the hotel to the cafe). Ultimately, the F&B outlet needs to be profitable...and RM17 for a western breakfast with coffee...well, you do the math! If the hotel does pay some kind of a subsidy, perhaps they need to increase the subsidy so that we can get better food or bigger portions! ;P I believe if I ordered a la carte and pay 'proper' prices, the food should please. After all, their menu which includes brunch dishes, handcrafted pizzas, delectable pastas, signature sammies, savoury selections, gourmet burgers, snacks and soups looks promising enough.
Overall, the food is great, compare to the other cafes in Ipoh.
Lamb Pojarski So we each ordered differently according to our choice. I took the Chicken and Selina ate lamb. This is polish style crusted lamb served with saute vegetables and savoury baked potatoes. The lamb is delicious and well seasoned. My friend, Mu said this is one of the best lamb he has tasted.
BabySumoKids love lamb, and they sure enjoyed the Grilled New Zealand Lamb Rack with sauteed vegetables and potatoes. The lamb was wonderfully tender and cooked perfectly with lovely charred edges. Highly recommended.
We have the RM 168 four course menu. The Tuna starter was excellent, nice texture and taste, nicely seared. The soup is okay, mushroom probably better than the broccoli soup. As for the main, the..
