Matcha Coffee Cheesecake (MYR 12) From the point of view of a Matcha fan, this dainty slice is pretty convincing where the slightly bitterish taste of the coffee and matcha is well balanced with the sweetness of the chocolaty base. A great combo indeed.
All in all, it was a relaxing ‘Saturdate’ café hopping with Pillow- who is also an avid buff of Ethopian beans. Hope to patronize this cozy place again soon.
Verdict: A place worth explore for coffee lovers with wide selection of coffees, coffee beans and coffee brewing apparatus. You may also be interested to have a good ‘coffee chat’ with the knowledgeable staffs. Food was just average though.
30 Seconds Breakfast, 17 ringgit. The 30 Seconds Breakfast was something different? I do not think I’ve come across a dish ‘Big Breakfast’ style that is accompanied with local noodles. Have you? It was a nice combination though. The scrambled eggs here were delicious, loved it. It was literally a thick, gooey chunk of yumminess. The noodles were simple in taste, lightly fried. This worked well, when you have it with the eggs and sausages, it was tasty. The chicken sausages were chewy and flavorful, the usual that accompanies chicken sausage. I enjoyed this dish.
Checked out their dessert selection and I was intrigued by the Gula Melaka Banana cake. Perhaps tea time for next visit?
The yummy food combined with the peaceful sound of bubbling water from the fountain nearby made our visit simply marvellous. We came at off-peak hours (2 pm) and the service was very quick with food coming out within ten to fifteen minutes. This might be different at prime lunchtime as some diners have complained about the slow service. One odd thing is that our dessert arrived before our mains, so it might be a good idea to make a separate order for your post-meal cendol. We unfortunately don’t have much reason to be in the Bandar Sri Damansara area again, but our experience here today means we’ll probably be eating at one of Kakatoo’s other locations in the future.

Tomyam Vermicelli, 22 ringgit. This was delicious. Flavorful, spicy in a way that only a Tomyum can pull, the kind that eventually leads your nose to start running. Oooo and the forehead sweating, lol. Yup, it would not be tomyum is it does not work you up that way. The bowl comes with plenty of tomyum soup and noodles + prawns, calamari, mussels, mushrooms. It is a pretty big portion though, so do keep an empty stomach if you intend to indulge. Yuumm!
