Shellout is one of the seafood restaurant that just serve all their seafood on their table without any plates or bowls. Not just that, you are advised to eat with your bare hands. Yes, this is the well-known which is currently is a trend for seafood indulgence. All their seafood is served freshly in Cajun style which is more widely known as Louisiana seafood boil. Please take note to either come very early or call to book to avoid disappointment by waiting in a long queue.

Verdict : This place gets all the marks for excellent customer service. Even on a busy festive day they apologized profusely to us for not being able to serve us better, and even threw in a discount as well! Taste-wise, just excellent. Perhaps the food might have been a little on the salty side, but the gNOMes were too busy licking their fingers for it to matter. Price-wise, surprisingly reasonable for a seafood place. The gNOMes will definitely be back again! This time, hopefully they will go easy on the salt! ;)

The Omelette with Cheese and Mushrooms was again a mind blowing dish. They had been very generous with the milk and cheese so much so, with each cut, you get cheese oozing out of the eggs. 10/10 would be my rating for this dish

More appetizers followed and the Mentaiko Gratinade Baby Lobster (RM23.80++) is an absolute stunner. Mentaiko or fish roe has such a moreish flavour profile that it pairs well with seafood to bring out the oceanic flavours. Overall, the platter of meat was absolutely divine. Costing merely RM65, both the food and the option to refill were great. However, there's only two timeslot available for the buffet, 6pm-8pm and 8pm-10pm. You can come anytime in between, by you'll end by either 8pm or 10pm. Reservations are recommended, so do remember to book in advance.

Stew Lamb with carrots at MYR 28.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 31.80 nett). The lamb shank is cut into 5 pieces and there is a lot of mashed potato so I kept 3 pieces of the lamb meat and half the mashed potato for lunch the next day. This price is lower than the price of the lamb shank here so it is value for money. Warm water is provided foc so all 4 of us did not order any drink.

Verdict: Euro Deli unquestionably a porcine goodness heaven which can satisfy any carnivores’ craving for meat. Taste wise, hits and misses on the food we’ve tried and price range is reasonable considering the portion served.

I ordered the above Iced Peach Tea which was priced at RM 8.00 and it was seriously good. The flavours were awesome and concentrated. Not those watered down versions that you commonly get. My rating for this drink is definitely 9/10.

I had the hot green tea + carrot soup + pork chop + ice cream combo. It was delicious, I especially loved the pork chop. It was juicy, tender and I appreciated the fact that the black pepper gravy wasn’t overpowering. The carrot soup was pretty good too, thick and flavorful. After I was done with the starter and the main meal, they served me a nice scoop of ice cream which resembled the Paddle Pop rainbow ice cream I used to indulge in back in the day after school. Yup, it sure brought back some happy memories.

My Personal Opinion This more than made up for our 'not-so-happy meal' earlier. Definitely a good place for some light bites (even dinner) with a good selection of wines as accompaniment. The menu may be short and simple but with an eye on taste and quality. You know what, I'm slowly starting to appreciate wines...some wines at least.....and that's me taking baby steps....haha! ;) If you need a place to chill....sip on some good wines...and snack on some good (albeit limited) finger food, you know where to go.

The matcha drink was real good. I loved it, would certainly head back to OCMC as long as I am stuck in this part of town, for my matcha fix. I specifically ordered this combination because I was feeling kindda lethargic. I’ve been working on my laptop a lot, haven’t been moving around much, hence my body feeling rather tired the whole time. I needed a boost, a healthy one. Lucky me that it was tasty. The matcha taste was evident, so was the Bentong ginger. Here, they somehow managed to balance those strong flavors, rather than one overpowering the other, it somehow pleasantly blends. The sweetness was just right too. It was refreshing. I enjoyed it, truly.

After reading PH's post about the delicious lamb, I quickly "ajak" my friend who likes to eat lamb too to check out the place. The above is what we ordered. We kept half of each dish for dinner. Nasi Oxtail Bakar RM37 Our next dish was this famous Indonesian grilled oxtail served with sambal penyet, vegetable soup and steamed white rice. Value Lunch Set: Soy Grilled Chicken Rice MYR 14++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR 16.15 nett). This set includes a glass of cold or ice lemonade and desserts. Buttered rice, yogurt mint dip, soy grilled chicken, sourish mangoes salad taste to me like a strange mix but I finished them all anyway in 2 sessions (kept half for dinner) because I don't waste food.
