Information & Tips about The Cafe Ind?
I’ve been waiting for you…The mum ordered the garlic naan (RM5.00)…to share and the chicken masala (RM13.50)…for the gravy to dip the roti in and the meat.

Sunday best…Ordered the mutton biryani (RM21.00)…The curry was absolutely perfect, exactly like how the Indian guy would cook it. I heard that he had got ready the paste and herbs and everything before he left and all the Indonesian lady had to do was to cook.
Let’s go celebrate…She wanted their authentic Indian mutton masala biryani rice (RM21.00)…She sure enjoyed that and she managed to finish all the rice! She could not finish all the meat in the curry though so I had to help her with a chunk or two.
Private party…I had the opor ayam (RM14.50)…which was very good, something like our ayam masak kurma, and there were two huge chunks of chicken in the bowl as well as some potatoes and one hardboiled egg.
Dim all the lights…I felt like having it (beef rendang) that night so that was what I ordered…and yes, it was very nice but it was not spicy. Nonetheless, with the help of the cili padi on top plus the one for presentation in my girl’s butter chicken curry, I did get to enjoy it very much indeed.
A stroke of luck…my girl had their ginger tea and her usual, her favourite mutton biryani…and as always, we enjoyed our lunch to the max and rest assured we shall be coming back here again and again and again…
Try something new…My girl wanted the biryani rice here with their butter curry chicken (RM18.00). We feel it is really very nice with the added taste of all that they use to cook the chicken in the tandoori plus the barbecued fragrance of the meat roasted in the traditional stone oven.
Short break…As always, the mum stuck loyally to the Indonesian menu and had her favourite kalio ayam (RM14.50)…with a special request for it to be extra extra hot. I did help myself to a bit of the gravy and yes, it was so very nice but no, I did not think it was all that hot. LOL!!! I guess we have been eating all that spicy stuff till our taste buds are numb so we do not feel it that much, not at all.
I’m in a hurry…My girl and her mum ordered their ikan kembong sumbat, the fish deboned and stuffed (RM18.00 each)…I had that on our previous visit and the fish did seem bigger this time around and though I quite enjoyed it then, I thought it was kind of dry and I had to resort to taking the gravy from my girl’s Indian butter chicken curry and the mum’s kalio ayam. That was why when this was served, I asked if they could have more of that lovely sauce on the grilled brinjal, skin removed but I was told that they would only cook that much everytime there was an order. I must remember to make a special request in advance the next time we drop by here and order that as that day, I thought it was really very nice and I was wishing I had more of it.
Long overdue…The mum, as always, had the Indonesian kalio ayam (RM14.50)……and she requested for it to be extra extra spicy and yes, it most certainly was, much to her delight and very much to her liking.
Go there…I strongly recommended the opor ayam (RM14.50)…the white curry, to my sister and she took my word for it and yes, she liked it.
Last minute…I went for something on the Indian menu, the chicken masala with biryani rice (RM18.00)…and yes, it was very nice and I did enjoy that…very much.
Sign on the door…My girl was able to sit down to enjoy her vegetable bryani…She enjoyed it very much, just that for want of a little bit of gravy, she wished it had been the bryani rice served with vegetable curry by the side
