We also had their Kara-Age Noodle (RM 20) where the slurpilicious noodles are simply good. The udon comes amazingly good with the slurplicious taste and it is well topped with the piece of scrumptious unagi with it.

My Personal Opinion Even at non-promotional prices, I don't think you can find anything cheaper than RM18.99 (single) or RM35.99 (double) for a bowl of unagi rice that's of this quality and taste. So, there's no better time than now to head to J's Gate Dining to take advantage of this (and other) extremely fantastic offer(s) before the promotion ends on 11 May 2018...it's a deal you won't want to miss :) With 16 (and later 18) types of specialised Japanese food on offer here, there's bound to be one that will suit each and every palate. I'm pretty sure I'll be back long after the promotions have ended as the variety here is endless...and all in one spot too! ^_^

Since we were sharing, we had the Double Unagi Omelette Bowl @ RM38.99 with additional fried chicken (2pcs @ RM4.99) and miso soup and green tea @ RM3.99. The Unagi was undeniably delicious, it was firm and tender while the sauce did not taste too sweet. Every mouthful eaten together with the omelette and rice was truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the fried chicken, as it was not crispy at all and the bottom was quite soggy and oily too.

I’m a huge fan of eels/unagi. I’m a bigger fan of anago (seawater eel) but requires a big, deep pocket which I lack so I chow down unagi more often than anago. Well, I know where I will be getting my unagi fix now – at Bonta Bonta, J’s Gate Dining for less than RM 20/bowl.
