Service is slow, food is nice, price is above average. Value for money item would be Fried Chicken and Curry Rice. Cheese cake with cream is pretty good.

Overall, the high cost of the meal (RM268 for 2.5 diners) wasn’t matched by the quality of food, so I don’t think I am likely to return in the near future. On the other hand, if I could get away with just having three courses of dessert, I might change my mind.

YURI / Matcha 6th Avenue Cheesecake! Priced at RM21, this is exclusively made available at The Tokyo Restaurant, Isetan The Japan Store, Lot 10. We personally prefer this to the original now as it has the right balance of sweetness together with the matcha. So velvety smooth and tasty!

When the restaurant first opened, everyone was raving about it and we thought "how good can a cheesecake be". Once we had a taste of it, we were hooked! Priced at RM20, you will get a slice of lusciously rich and creamy cheesecake with whipped cream. This decadent cheesecake is made with Danish cream cheese and is baked in a special humidity controlled oven. So delicious! For us, this is the best cheesecake we've tasted in KL!

Verdict: 1. Be prepared for spending at least RM50 per pax, but the food and experience here are totally worth every penny spent. 2. Excellent food quality and taste although the menu may be quite limited for some. 3. The search is over, I can have my most favourite cheesecake here! The Cheesecake is the No.1 must-try item here. Will definitely be back for more, but it’d be even better if I can have a whole cake for my birthday!

People are talking about this cheesecake on the Internet and they even give it a title, which is "The Legendary Cheesecake". Why is it legendary, you ask? Well, I guess it's mostly because of its cheesy, moistly texture and with a sweet touch of whipped cream on top. After hearing all these raves about it from my friends and other people, I decided to find it out myself, which I did, and I totally agreed to the "Legendary Cheesecake" title. If you're a cheesecake lover, this has to be in your bucket list. Plus, it's hardly to find it anywhere else in Malaysia, except here. Why not just give it a try? Where can you find it? You can find it in The Tokyo Restaurant, which is located on the 5th floor of ISETAN The Japan Store!
