The BBQ meal was best enjoyed with Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). We had the original (RM38 for a bottle enough to share for four pax) but TAAN may soon offer Lemon and Raspberry flavours in the future. Soju and beer are also served here.
Found the quality of food generally above average, though some dishes were on the salty side. Some dishes are pricier than others depending on what you order, but still affordable. It goes to show that pork can just as brilliantly match with Indian cuisine as other meats, especially when it’s handled well like how MTP has done it.
It is expensive to eat here, especially when beer is involved. Stammtisch is likely our only source of German beer within a convenient distance from us, and the spaetzle was very satisfying. The service during our visit was a bit shit, but they didn’t mess anything up. Hopefully, the disinterested attitude of the waitresses was just a problem for this day. I haven’t tried Bavarian Bierhaus at The Curve, which looks cheaper and has a better food presentation than Stammtisch. Until I do, Stammtisch KL is now my preferred place when I want to taste Germany again.
A quaint Japanese bar tucked in theart of Damansara Heights. Serving delectable japas, makis and house infused sakes!
Limóne is now officially opened from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Tuesdays to Sundays. So, whether you’re looking for the perfect spot for Sunday brunch or a quick coffee to-go, Limóne is exactly where you need to be.
High class Pakistan food, we probably ordered too much. Food is nice, but i wasn't impressed by anything in particular. Maybe too expensive while the food is not good enough for the price point.
Other five-star hotels will charge arrogant prices close to RM300 for their high tea. The afternoon tea at the Sofitel KL Damansara was surprisingly tasty for its low price and very aesthetically pleasing. Some things, like the tea, scones and ambience, are not at a five-star standard, but I’ve seen a lot worse at this price point. Comparatively, afternoon tea at Sofitel’s Le Bar is decent and above average for what you pay.
So if you are looking for a great staycation right here in Kuala Lumpur, do give Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara a consideration
Overall, we enjoyed the food here. While the Laksa Johor is not the most traditional in terms of portion and presentation, it was really delicious and a bang for the buck.
Overall, Frangipaani offers a decent Indian meal in a very classy setting in Bukit Damansara. Service is excellent here as well with good recommendations by the waiting staff.
