French Toast is kinda like must have for me. Love the brioche toast as it is done to perfection. sauce is not too sweet yet just nice.
Cappuccino was rich & have bold coffee taste that it goes perfectly well with the Burnt Cheesecake. Cappuccino @ RM 11
BIRCH BENEDICT RM26 The eggs were poached to perfection, where the egg white was firm and bouncy while the yolk was runny. The pull pork was another surprise. It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.
Baked egg tarts... must try!

Reasons to visit Grandmother’s Table, Sunday Brunch Nero Nero: A full array of food surprises inspired by the grandmothers of southern Italy rendered by the capable hands of Head Chef Giuseppe Lioce.
Reasons to try the Nero Nero Menu: authentic Italian cuisine; seriously one of the best Italian restaurants in Kuala Lumpur; not one, but TWO Italian chefs; fresh pasta made daily; just try everything and make sure to leave room for dessert, or don’t leave room but order dessert anyway!
Reason to visit: home-crafted Italian dishes from the heart, superb service, great atmosphere.
Fresh seafood cut aficionados, Premium Zaru Soba (RM 40) is the gold seal of approval. Elegantly presented and marrying well with the chilled buckwhehat noodle with special cold soba sauce, every bite of premium seafood combination is something fancy indeed. But once again, the flowers maybe pushing the boundaries a little.
Located at DC Mall which is one of the hippest edgy dining hub in the Damansara Heights, Hisho achieves a fusion of culinary styles with a touch of creativity while attributing a distinct character to every delicacy. Chef Danny presents a fusion Japanese menu complimenting both delicious delights and visually appealing, with a twist!
「親子丼」可真的不像一般日本餐廳所吃到的呢!那一股溜的滑蛋襯托著肥嫩的雞肉塊,伴著白米飯和店家特選的醬油吃,真的好香滑呀!
Green curry chicken rice (green section) is very tasty and this portion is just right for me. I wish they could offer this mini dish for lunch too.
Steamed Siakap with Rice at MYR 18.50++ (MYR 21.46 nett). The gravy of the fish is sweet and sour and very appetising. There are two pieces of boneless siakap meat in the small claypot.
New in the latest mall in Pusat Bandar Damansara, Tigerlily Thai Restaurant hopes to serve up pocket-friendly Thai dishes to the area’s office crowd as well as shoppers. Located in Damansara City Mall (DC Mall), the affordable Thai restaurant serves plenty of classic Thai dishes with bold flavours.
Reasons to try the Kikubari menu: elegant setting; exceptional sake pairings; an intriguing line-up of dishes.
Reasons to try out Meatless Monday at Kikubari, DC Mall: it’s a culinary journey, not just a meal out; the kitchen team have nailed both taste and presentation; stylish and intimate setting; incredible wine and sake menu; a gentle introduction to meat-free eating.
Reasons to visit: Pairing sake with food brings out the amazing flavour notes of an understated and lesser-known liquor; Chef Jun is amazingly creative and talented and deserves to be recognized for her vision and skills; the Ebi-katsu Sandwich might be one of the best things you eat in 2018; french fries are always good, but french fries cooked in beef fat and mounded with truffle shavings are unreal.
Katsu Chicken Sando For me, I am totally in love with the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu comes amazingly delicious with the tender juicy deep fried chicken sandwiched with the Japanese milk bread and ended with the red cabbage dressing in ponzu sauce. The fragrant bread combined with the juicy chicken give you with a double thumbs up!
OxTail Bakar was the recommended dish and also chef signature. @ RM 58 – 6 hours stout and cider braised oxtail then charred. It is so UMAMI!. Punch with solid strong flavour yet it is caramlise from the sauce reduction. Meat is so soft that it peals off easily from the bone. – Bone licking good. Recommended
I must confess that their Lemonade was awesome. Seriously good flavours and it was served with a decent amount of ice cubes. A must try when you're here. I would rate this drink at 10/10.
“Eclectic food” – that is the buzzword proclaimed on the sites and in description of the latest concept restaurant by Chef Johari Edrus, aka Chef Jo/Papa Jo, a former MasterChef Malaysia juror. Personally, this “eclectic” word got me skeptical and raised more than a few eyebrows with a few friends of mine. Most snorted, others rolled their eyes and asked me to be the guinea pig while a few laughed and surmised it as another expensive outlet relying on the chef’s name to pull in the crowd. Oh yes, my makan gang can be unforgiving. Personally I wouldn’t visited if it wasn’t for two friends; Iskandar (owner of Dua by Skohns) who praised it to the skies after his birthday dinner and another chef friend who assured me that Papa Jo knows what he is doing. I’ll quote him right here – “Papa Jo can cook, he’s not another ‘show chef’.”
We do love a good burger from time to time and have constructed some decadent ones at home (such as this foie gras burger). Recently we tried Harley's burgers at DC Mall, and their Cowboy Burger ticked all the boxes for us. Harley's pride themselves at being a "Healthy Fast Food" restaurant; they differentiate themselves from other burger joints by eradicating the preservatives, coloring, additives and artificial flavoring found in many burgers and buns. Their patties are made from 100% premium Australian Halal beef and fresh Halal chicken (never frozen) and their burger buns are also homemade. As their burgers are made to order, there will be a slight wait especially during peak times - place your order at the counter and the burgers will be delivered to your table.
Reasons to visit: Healthy, natural and tasty food; Excellent value for money; Beef Rendang, and don’t miss the Greek Yoghurt.
Reasons to visit: A relaxed and creative atmosphere that will leave you craving their inventive cocktails and enjoying their unique combinations of food. The entire staff is warm, engaging and friendly, which adds to the welcoming vibe and will only lead to the start of a great new society. Cocktail-wise, don’t miss the Shenanigans, the Rum Rummer or The Scientist!
Can't recall the name of this dish, but it's shakshuka. I would recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. With the warm and toasty eggs and savoury tomato sauce and other ingredients cooked into what seemed like a thick broth, this dish is sure to fill your tummy despite its deceivingly small portion. Use the bread to soak up the awesome eggs and tomato concoction so you don't leave any behind.
Overall, i find the food and drinks and yummy, kind of wish the portion is tad bigger though
Boston Lobster and abalones make the best pairing, especially when they are braised in a thick umami sauce. It’s a great dish to make good impressions and we love the impression it made on our happy tummies!

Jeff Ramsey’s new modern izakaya gratifies the senses with Japanese-Spanish flair, liberally spinning classics from both cuisines to delicious results.
Reasons to visit Japas by Jeff Ramsey: That steak!! Spectacular views across the city; eclectic fusion dishes; reasonable and varied wine and sake offerings.
Reasons to visit Babe Restaurant’s Bubbly Brunch: fun, friendly dining; creative cooking; gorgeous presentation; a chance to try many dishes from their menu for a single price.
[Halal] We finally checked out this establishment for their famous dish – Dancing Fish. The presentation is very cool – the fish really looks like it is dancing/jumping.
DF Appetizer Platter (RM 49.80) comes to our favorite where the platter is packed with their signature items which includes their charcoal – grilled Chicken Satay, Cumi Cumi Tahu Bakar with the Spicy Peanut Rujak Sauce, Seafood Sate Lilit and Spicy Green Apple Salad with Salted Fish. The platter is just awesome where they are packed with flavors as well.
Tiki Taka, located in the housing neighborhood of Medan Damansara, has been serving lots of scrumptious East meets West inspired tapas bites. Coupled with their full bar service, it is one of the better place to hang out in that area for good food and drinks. This round, the new menu is bolder and definitely better. Filled with lots of porky fare, there’s plenty of small bites as well as mains and a sweet ending. We visited once evening for a sneak peek and was pretty stoke about the luscious menu coupled with a few giggle juices.
Used to be new kid on the block and since then have gains many of regular over months and with some recommendations and request from their customer, Tiki Taka had just launch their New Menu and along with some of their Old signature menu is still on the menu.
The favourites are still there, Nutella Bacon, Pork Satay, Singapore Chilli Prawns, and yes of course Salted Egg Crab Bun, you’ll never be at risk of the new Pintxos, Tapas & Mains that has become their signature dish and now you will have a whole new selection of sublime taste sensations vying for your attention! Papa C said they have the best Connor’s as Tiki Taka has one of the best pour. It pours black with a thick, creamy beige head. Love the smoothness.
This is what I'd refer to as the absolute "sea"riously delicious sushi roll. The breakdown of the ingredients practically sound like it's what you would get regardless of which Japanese restaurants you visit, but putting them together it's absolutely unexpectedly delicious. The crispy shrimp gave a contrasting texture to the soft and mushy grilled unagi, which Avocado added as an additional emollient to mush all of the ingredients into one, with a little help from the shiitake mushrooms to boost an incredible umami / aroma. Just one bite left us wanting more, we wanted to savour once more the unique burst of flavours on our taste buds.
I wanted to spread the joy of all the awesome discounts and offers from The Entertainer that I took advantage of this year, so i had another night out with my foodie friends at Ploy in Work@Clearwater to savour the taste of Japa-Thai (Japanese and Thai), they are included in the list of merchants on The Entertainer app with Buy 1 Free 1 Mains offer.
PLOY is a Modern Asian dining restaurant. It also means ‘gem’ in Thai. Inspired by the true gems of Japanese and Thai cuisine. This is a great dining place where we can choose the food from variety cuisine instead the particular western restaurant.
Was invited to try the new dim sum menu by @orientalgroup and it was nice to see the Ming Room in its new digs after being refurbished. Was particularly impressed by the bamboo feature wall and the fancy washroom, akin to a swanky posh hotel!
Serving authentic Cantonese cuisine that blends history and elegance with comfort. The dim sum menu is fairly extensive with consistent standards which may be considered good locally. It's always packed at weekends so be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
It was worth the wait as some of their dishes are superb. Char siew pork is irresistible because the meat is mostly lean with just a bit of fat and lightly charred with an even coating of sticky sweet soy sauce.
