[Pork-free] There’s a new bingsu spot in town! BINQ Dessert in the latest spot in Desa Sri Hartamas to get your fix of bingsu and milk tea.
I was completely surprised by the food at Burnin’ Pit. Our sandwiches were huge and loaded with ingredients. Both of us were absolutely stuffed before finishing our meals, and I wasn’t hungry for the rest of the day. I thought this would be a very generic restaurant that wouldn’t put any effort into the food – that they were simply coasting on their status as a barbecue restaurant, which is why I didn’t want to waste over RM200 for a platter only to be disappointed. However, I was very impressed. The food at Burnin’ Pit was so good that I will gladly come back and try their expensive barbecue platters.
Verdict: Overall, the food at Buldojang are above average and they are something we rather accustomed to, like meat in sweet and sour flavour or Korean style spicy broth. Portion wise, it compatibles with the price charged, although it’s on the higher side.
What do We Like about Shin Yangpyung Haejang-Guk, Desa Sri Hartamas? -The soup was good and flavourful -The ban chan was refillable and fresh -Pancake in huge portion
A hidden gem, this place is worth exploring, especially if you have a penchant for the exotic. Authentic flavours, unique ambience and cozy dining space, Kalamata Cafe checks all the boxes.
We keep returning to Mill Bakery Cafe because it’s a reliable cafe in Sri Hartamas. The portions are decent, and the food is always great. Perhaps I’m used to the costs at Mont Kiara restaurants, but the prices at this cafe are good value for the quality and how much you get. It almost feels suspiciously cheap to me, but the dishes are tasty, so whatever. I hope Mill Bakery Cafe stays for a long while so we can keep coming back.
Ooohh..la..la... the meat was tender and juicy, even better than the one we had on our very first visit. The tomato sauce which is similar to the one served with the Patatas Bravas enhanced the riblicious experience. We regretted not going with our gut feeling of getting a full rack. Next time!
Overall, we really enjoyed these unique Korean dishes as an alternative to the usual Korean stew dishes and K-BBQ fare. Do note that prices for these dishes are a little on the high side compared to say, having a bowl of beef doenjang-jjigae at a typical Korean restaurant with the free flow of side dishes that come with it.
♥Verdict: Satisfying quality of Wagyu beef with great texture and flavours. Price of beef (prime cut & Wagyu) platter starting from RM200+ to RM600+ while the ala carte orders priced from RM20+ to RM170+.
Their signature fresh siham is really good. For those who love to have them, they come with pulpy juicy siham. The siham is incredibly huge where siham lover would definitely fall in love with it. In here, you can enjoy this awesome juicy bites of it and you can have them with their special sauce.
