The miso bowl looked a deeper brown than the regular bowl.
Overall, a decent and interesting bowls. I think there were some aspects that lowered the dining experience.
You can taste that his duck ramen is not merely by putting different components together but each process from the soup, duck and noodle is carefully thought through and probably many months of taste test until the right formula is obtained.
After so many creative flavours, such as Crab, Lobster, Bak Kut Teh and now Duck at Ginza Kamo Soba Kyudaime Keisuke, I can’t help but wonder, what would Chef Keisuke come up with next.
I can see myself returning to Ginza Kamo Soba Kyudaime again for more of the duck ramen, but as the noodle house does not take reservations, a queue is most likely to be expected especially during the opening phase so need to get mentally prepared for that.
I can’t imagine feeling satisfied if I ordered the regular bowl at $14.90++. But I guess this is the price you have to pay if you want quality food that took painstaking hours to prepare.
Every concept of Chef Keisuke makes waves each time it is opened and I have no qualms about Ginza Kamo Soba Kyudaime Keisuke being the next hit in Holland Village.
