Sometimes when we’re not adventurous, we usually just go for the chef’s special sushi moriwase. The spread and quality of this is value for money.

Another different view. The assorted sushi were freshly made, good proportion and don't you love the varieties (and colors!). Can you see the generous portion of roasted unagi at the back. The unagi was nicely roasted, yet maintaining the unagi's soft texture and inherent sweetness inside and I must repeat, the portion was huge for a big eater like me. Kudos!:)

The quick way to judge a restaurant is to order sashimi. I went for the Sashimi Zen set lunch which consisted of four types of raw items served with rice, soup, fruits and salad. I was rather impressed of the cuts of the fish.

Verdict: My overall experience wasn't that impressive, maybe I'm not Japanese enough to truly appreciate it. Furthermore, the price is on the high-end, anytime I'd prefer either Rakuzen, Sushi Tei or Sushi Zanmai.

Sake Toro Sashimi Zen (RM22): 三文鱼腩套餐 salmon belly sashimi set 份量还蛮多的: 新鲜的鱼腩切得厚厚的... 好好吃哦!! very generous portion: star the fresh salmon belly is cut thicky... so yummy!!

The food was good. Expect to pay around RM 40 and above for a decent meal. The service was good and place was really cozy. Do book in advance (my advice). A good Japanese place to visit in Jaya One area.
