A more than satisfactory meal at "Jam & Kaya" today. Will be back soon for another Pancake brunch, maybe the next visit will be for the the Cafe's 2 other Signature offerings which are the sweet "Jam & Kaya's Pancake" and the "Hot Chocolate with Choco Balls"!
We like that the kaya and fruity jam were not overtly sweet. In fact, the kaya jam has a lighter green hue as they are made from freshly made pandan. The strawberries were not sour too – which is a plus in our books. We literally demolished the pancake stack in 5 minutes!
总而言之,Jam&Kaya有可能成为公司的最爱,超越其相对隐蔽的位置并避免提前宣传。
Set Lunch : Homemade Kimchi Fried Rice, 18.90 ringgit. Okay, if you guys are a fan of Korean food, this Fried rice could just be your Korean fix. Seriously, no joke. Each spoon of rice, the taste of kimchi is noticeable. Add in the Fried chicken that accompanies the dish, which is also cooked Korean style by the way and you’d get everything Korean. At first glance, it looked relatively simply, the fried rice with plenty of kimchi and fried onion, garlic as garnish + the fried egg , however, as soon as you taste it, man – this was some good stuff.
Jam and Kaya is a lovely homey restaurant that serves breakfast if you couldn’t guess it already from the name. Get it, jam and kaya. Breakfast must haves?! 😀 Ample Amount of natural light to brighten up the interior. Latte (RM8.90) Wildberries Sparkling (RM10.90) Sparkling juice is always a…
Jam & Kaya Cafe is tucked away in PJ Palm Sports Centre in Petaling Jaya. I liken the ambiance of cafe to one of my favourite brunch places in Sydney – the interior is bright and spacious, and the staff exude a sunny disposition which I find genuine.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Jam & Kaya’s Pancake @ RM13.50. If you think pancakes are boring, wait till you try this. The light and fluffy pancakes are delicious enough on their own but with those fresh berries, strawberry jam and vanilla ice cream thrown into the mix, they are taken to another level of goodness.
Verdict: Jam & Kaya cafe at PJ Palms Sport Centre is a nice and cosy cafe to enjoy brunch and chill out on weekends 🙂 This cafe has really nice interior and offers a relaxing environment to spend time with your family or friends. They serve a wide selection of delicious All Day Breakfast, pasta and pastries to go with your coffee, tea or chocolate drinks. Do try their desserts like pancake and mouthwatering cakes if you’re looking for something light 😉
Overall, the coffee weren't too bad, and the food were nice. To top all these, the cafe is run by 2 very pretty and friendly ladies! I guess the cafe is kinda like their extension - bright, lively and cozy!
