In conclusion, I believe that Tossed Cafe is quite obvious that it isn't your regular hippy cafes. It serves a decent meal in a clean and comfortable environment, with 4 different method of sitting - swing chair, bean bags, long table or a table for 4. Service was pretty responsive and the price is on a reasonable scale. It's not entirely cheap nor was it too expensive. If you're hoping for a quick and wholesome lunch, Tossed will definitely be able to assist you.

The Middle Eastern Medley is consistently good and (to us) it is the best thing on the menu. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tender and the rice was perfectly aromatic and delicious. It was worth braving traffic and the hot sun just to eat this.

Not exactly a pocket-friendly lunch but one worth every Ringgit spent - I would never slave in the kitchen to cook those lamb shanks and I am definitely not up for baking such fancy cakes. Hah!

Sushi Zanmai's food is easy as it's halal, fresh, tasty and most importantly reasonably priced so it has been a staple Japanese choice amongst Malaysians and the quality of the rice is better than the one in Mentai / Jiro but of course, if you are willing to pay for slightly more than those.

There are several lunch set options, but the star of the show is the Bari-Uma: Ramen in pork flavoured shoyu soup with thick-cut flamed chashu. The set (RM29.90) comes with edamame, two pieces of pan-fried chicken gyoza and green tea. The soup is made from herbs, pork bones, chicken feet, high quality soy sauce and other ingredients, boiled for over 10 hours to extract maximum flavour. The result is a super rich, creamy and thick broth, which diners will slurp to the last drop. The ramen is fresh and springy as well, with just the right amount of al dente bite, and the thick cut chasu had a smokey, slightly charred taste, with a good balance between the lean and fat.

The Ajitama Uma (RM27.90). Ooooohhhh.... I loved the smoky flavor of the pork flavored shoyu soup and the flamed chasu! The portion of ramen was very generous. It was so filling.

Chicken Drumstick in a Bun at MYR 6.90+ (6% SST = MYR 7.31 nett). Sounds fun to eat so bought two to try. The end of the chicken drumstick is wrapped in aluminium foil and it juts out from the bun. You can also see the drumstick from the other end of the bun. It is nice as the bun tastes of herbs, the chicken drumstick meat is tender and you know that it is chicken meat that you are getting since a whole complete drumstick on the bone is in the bun.

We add MYR 1 nett to change the plain white rice to a bowl of yam rice. The soup is tasty but the pieces of coconut are too tough to be eaten
