Tara saikyo yaki - Miso marinated grilled cod fish - my personal favourite! The cod fish was wrapped in ohba leave and grilled, imparting a nice aroma to the fish. I loved the robust miso marination on this flaky fish.
Iketeru’s Japanese buffet is back – albeit known as The Hungry Deal now. There’s no time limit per se, as the buffet is served between 12pm and 2.30pm (last order 2pm) in the weekends. The price is RM238++/pax

For the very first time, Hilton Kuala Lumpur is bringing in the famous Tokushima wagyu beef from Shikoku whereby diners will get to savour this premium beef at Iketeru for the entire month of August 2018. Sourced from Nishiawa Beef from Tokushima Prefecture, the beef is certified halal to be sold in Malaysia, explained Japanese Executive Chef Ricky Kamiishi.
What really caught our eye (and tummy) in the Sakura Spring Festival special menu is the Hanami Bento which has the biggest portion of food and it’s worth every sen of the RM260 price tag. It’s a whole complete meal by itself.

While other restaurants in the hotel have been through facelifts and revamps, the Japanese restaurant has been a long-standing success.
