The Chinese New Year nine-course set menus, Harmonious, Opulent and Abundance are priced at RM 1,988, RM 2,388 and RM 2,788 respectively. To make your mid – autumn more unique, Chef Lo’s comes up with the Shanghai Style Baked Black Pepper Smoked Duck Meat With Yam (上海黑椒煙鴨芋泥月餅). Inspired by the famous street snack, Scallion Pancake, during a trip in Taiwan, Chef Lo’s created an interpretive recipe in this unique mooncake using black pepper smoked duck and sweet yam paste. Encased in a light and flaky pastry, every bite is an orchestic experience in the mouth. This delicacy is only available for dine-in in Tao Chinese Cuisine for optimal taste and texture.
Marble Snow Skin with Butterfly Pea Flower and Bird’s Nest 蝴蝶兰花燕丝月饼 (RM43.00) The dreamy marbled skin made this mooncake truly too pretty to be savored. Natural ingredient of Bunga Telang or Butterfly Pea Flower is used to achieve its pretty crystal skin. The flower is known for its health benefit of antioxidants which can lower blood pressure as well as enhancing memory and brain power. The paste filling came with quite a nice amount of luxurious jellied strands of bird’s nest as well as fresh Butterfly Pea flowers.
Pan-fried rice noodle rolled with dried shrimps and spring onions (RM16) Great crispy texture of rice noodles. It is a must have dish when you're here for dimsum.
