The highlight of the day was of course the Lamb Sausage Calzone RM58. Folded in half, it was huge, about the length of my arm. The pizza base was spotted with charred patches, and delivered a firm bite. Tore the calzone apart and out spilled a mess of chopped lamb sausages, eggplants, melted mozzarella and oregano.
Service is good and the food is great.

Genting had been into massive renovation and touch up. Skyavenue is their lattest attraction especially for shoppers and also filled up with alot of new F&B outlets. Motorino Pizza is one of them where also being regard as best authentic Neopolitan Italian pizza restaurant in New York. As such, Motorino’s antipasti selection gives diners a glimpse into the quality of the ingredients that will appear on their pizzas. As evidence, the mixed greens salad and arugula and bresaola salad will always burst with crispness, freshness and flavour, while the roasted peppers will delight with their natural sweetness. The buffalo mozzarella with tomato, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil will combine richness with tangy juiciness, while the Octopus salad will bring together sensation and succulence, with clever use of capers, potatoes, chili oil, red onion and parsley.
Soft and chewy pizza base, minimally topped with careful balanced among ingredients, cheese, sauce and crust, baked in small mouth and low dome super hot oven that gets pizza cooked within 60-90 seconds – this is how Pizza Napoletana, or Neapolitan Pizza should be like. And Motorino certainly makes this right.
And of course there are meatballs too. I highly recommend to get this as they are deceptively tender and delicious. RM26 for a set of 3. Desserts are as limited as they are good, with tiramisu, chocolate cake (torta al cioccolato with custard) and gelato by the scoop or bowl.
Do not expect for a fine dining experience in Motorino; Just be prepared for honest to goodness, earthy, wholesome cooking. If you develop a sudden craving for pizza at Genting, this is one place you should not miss.
