High-quality ingredients and first-class service, this is the first Japanese-style shabu-shabu and sukiyaki in Asia!
I’ve been to my fair share of shabu-shabu places in Malaysia – and I have to say that Mo-Mo Paradise’s beef slices are among the most best ones I’ve ever seen. The thickness was just right (some places serve you paper thin sheets which are practically falling apart lol) and there was a nice amount of lean and fat in each slice.
The special cuts meat is carefully sliced and kept in a strictly controlled temperature before serving to avoid contamination. The two kind of cuts of Sakura Pork you can try is the Pork Shoulder Loin - perfect for Sukiyaki while the Pork Belly tastes best in Shabu-Shabu.
Customers then choose from the mouthwatering selection of different types of meat such as sakura pork that is sourced locally and beef that is air flown from Australia. The meats are carefully sliced and kept in a strictly controlled temperature before serving.
Reasons to visit Mo-Mo Paradise: A casual, comfortable place to share a fun meal with family and friends. The experience of cooking, dipping, slurping and laughing together is well worth the price of admission.
As first timer, we definately opt for both soup base as to try it out. For Sukiyaki which the base is bold in flavour, we are told to add some fresh slice of onion to tone down the flavor before dipping your meat in.
Buffet price: RM76++/pax for mix flavour pot RM68++/pax for single flavour pot Overall review: Given the price, we would say that Mo-Mo Paradise is worth every penny we paid for. In fact, a really nice Japanese shabu-shabu and sukiyaki in KL city centre. Affordable eat-all-you-can with air-flown Australian beef, Sakura pork, fresh vegetables – no reason for not recommending this place. Do check it out!
