First, we had the Shitake Nanban (RM12.90). The Nanban sauce is a vinegar sauce, which gives a bit of a tart flavour, and is served paired with their very own home made tar tar sauce. The batter was deep fried perfectly, and when cut open, the mushroom itself is juicy enough that it's not too dry. Definitely one of my favorite dish in Momochan.
Momo Chan has launched a 3-course Christmas menu to give you a great Christmas Japanese feast during this festive season!
Japanese Karage Winglets @ RM 12.90. A special marinated with soy sauce, sake and ginger. A simple food that gives satisfaction. One of the best starter in the list. Fried to perfection, fragrant and crispty.
Christmas Beef Special, 150g Australian Tenderloin , Pan Seared, Sous vide then char Crilled served with japanese Ponzu and Grated Radish Sauce.
I start my lunch with this green tea soft serve and jelly dessert at MYR 11.99+ (10% service charge = MYR 13.18 nett). The green tea taste is very light but the burnt sugar syrup lifted the taste.
