The Avocado Spread was simply delicious. They did the Egg benedict very well, without being too rubbery and thick. The bread was also just nice, crispy only at the sides. I preferred this bread than the typical hard muffins. It was my first time eating this item, and was so well worth it for the package price.
这只是一个平日的上午, Pokok KL Cafe @ Mahsa Avenue生意看起来不错呢!
Overall, we had a lovely, satisfying brunch, with just the right amount of Instaworthy photoshooting.
Piatti Di Agnello (RM60) Juicy and tender char-grilled US pork rack (250gm), served with baked tomato and orzo with green pea. Cooked to tender and slightly charred on the surface, this pork rack was lip smackingly delicious!
Would I go back to Enorme? Absolutely. I don't think it is a place I would put into my list of favourites just yet, but to be fair, I have only tried 3 dishes so far.
Verdict: Enorme is possibly one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to so far, and I’d gladly recommend it to everyone! Prices are a bit steep, but hey, you’re paying for really good food. Would come back to try something else on special occasions. 🙂
I prefer the steam chicken, its definitely tender, very nice soya sauce and chili sauce to get with it.
Verdict: The chicken rice was above average, compared with the previous chicken rice I’ve posted recently, this undoubtedly fared better. Restoran Satellite definitely more than a decent place for poached chicken rice but there was one thing that really annoyed me that day. Dining with music/songs played at the background certainly can elevate the dining mood but not with earsplitting volume which was really disturbing and a totally put off for me.
Every year, we will go to Ipoh and so excited to try Ipoh Food. Some of the Ipoh food from Ipoh Famous Chicken Rice Chains are a huge disappointment. They can’t even serve a decent chicken rice. This Satellite Restaurant Chicken Rice and 1977 Ipoh Chicken Rice are way much better than those shop.
If you’re looking for a good neighourhood casual Japanese restaurant, Hanazen is worth checking out.
Overall, a positive first visit to Hanazen at PJ Jaya One.
Sometimes when we’re not adventurous, we usually just go for the chef’s special sushi moriwase. The spread and quality of this is value for money.
What do We Like about Kings Hall Cafe? -Kings Hall is spacious and has a lot of seating in different setting -The location is rather quiet, good for a peaceful cup of coffee without big crowd -We like the rice bowl and its pesto paste
Overall, this spot does have its own charm when it comes to café hopping stint in search for awesome treats. With some light chatters with your chum- the day is simply perfect!

The bedroom is huge with more than enough space for an extra bed for Ethan while Ayden shared the King bed with us.
鸭肉切丁下锅大火快炒,米饭颗颗饱满沾上蛋白的炒饭镬气十足,属于一种简单朴实的鲜味。
From 16th January until 19th February 2019, the restaurant offers seven different Festive Set Menus, with prices starting from RM2088 nett per table of 10 persons and RM788 nett per table of 4 persons
Baked River Prawn with Spicy Sauce 醬燒大生蝦 Look at this huge river prawns! Fresh, bouncy, thickly coated with finger-licking good dark spicy sauce. Yummy!
This dish was da bomb! They were right, this is most definitely a CHINDIAN dish. The Salted Egg from the Chinese side and the rest of the briyani from the Indian end, a surprisingly delicious combination.
#MalgudiIndianCuisine #Seksyen16Tucked in a quiet alley at Seksyen 16 of PJ, there is a semi fine dining restaurant【Malgudi】that serves both North and South ...
Verdict Malgudi is certainly one of the better semi fine dining Indian restaurants in Petaling Jaya. The restaurant has a vintage look to it and it is a relaxing place for lunch or dinner. The Chicken Thali in particular was amazing. We will definitely be dropping by Malgudi pretty soon.
The Fried Kway Teow is pretty popular, 20 minutes wait time on weekdays before 12PM. Taste wise is slightly above average, noodle a bit soft, and quite some ingredients. The popiah is huge, taste..
I'd say its an above average Wan Ton Mee.
A small serving Char Kuey Teow cost RM6 while the large one is RM7. The large Char Kuey Teow here is fairly big and can be quite filling even if you are a big eater. The Kuey Teow noodles were moist and loose with an amazing “wok hei” flavours which you can smell and taste. The grumpy uncle was indeed skilful in controlling the heat and wok which made the noodles charred but not burnt surface with a strong smoky aroma.
Eyuzu Restaurant has some quiet corners even with the Sunday crowd for the dinner buffet (costing RM128/pax). It has a mix of Sashimi, Sushi, Pickles, Cooked Food, Desserts. Teppanyaki is cooked upon order. Shabu-shabu is given as sharing basis. The best part is the grilled eel which is missing in some buffet even Sunway Putra Gen Restaurant.
All these fresh seafood then grace the serving counters in Eyuzu for their Shumatsu Buffet Dinner happening every weekend. The lavish and extensive spread of raw and cooked dishes ranges from fresh sashimi to cook-to-order teppanyaki and more. The Shumatsu Buffet Dinner is priced at RM118 nett per adult and RM59 nett per child, with free-flow of chilled juices and freshly brewed coffee/tea.
Happening every weekend at Eyuzu Japanese Restaurant, Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, this special Shumatsu buffet offers a unique dining experience that keeps diners feeling anticipate on the sushi, sashimi and perhaps, grilled seafood selections they can pick on. Shumatsu buffet is priced at RM118nett per adult including free flow of chilled juices and freshly brewed coffee or tea. Child pays half the price of adult. Parking was easy at 8am this morning, beware of parking without coupon as MBPJ officers make their roundings ar random hors daily as seen today issuing parking summons at 3pm today.
My lunch order - seabass rice bowl at MYR 19 nett. One of the 3 rice bowls from the set lunch menu. The other rice bowls are vegetarian rice bowl and chicken rice bowl. The seabass fish (siakap) is fresh but they put a bit too much soy sauce deep fried garlic on top of the fish as garnishing so it is a bit on the salty side but overall, apart from the saltiness, this dish is tasty with the sugar snap peas and mushrooms.
Cake spread is quite a delight; making this quite the lovely place for sweet tooth. Caffeine beverages were fairly decent. I took a sip of the Matcha Latte and reminded myself that not all matcha are meant to not go wrong. At least this one is an exceptional.
The menu has also gotten a lot more extensive. Besides ramen, there are appetisers, salads, rice bowls, oden, yakitori, tempura, hot pot and stir-fried stuff. Ramen Bar Shi Shi Do has also become a place to hang out for drinks as there’s an attractive list of beverages ranging from highball, beers, cocktails, beers and soft drinks.
♥Verdict: Please be reminded that Ramen Bar Shi Shi Do doesn’t take reservation, hence you only can walk in and have to expect a queue on weekends. Service was decent despite being busy and over all, our dinner was fairly good except for a few misses in between. Revisit? In between yes or no, I would say 😛 So drop by if you have chance and let me know your verdict!

Bookmark Coffee - worth returning? Yes – definitely. It is a nice location with comfy ambience to do lunch/dinner or just me-time to chill for some remote working and coffee.
Ever since I came here with my editor, I’ve been a big fan of their smoked duck pandan rice, which is superb and comes in generous portions – and I’ve really missed it after nearly two months in quarantine.
For mains, I went with the house specialty: Pandan Rice with Smoked Duck (RM20). It was very tasty, and I can definitely see myself coming back for a return visit. The smoked duck came in hefty portions and it had great flavour with none of the gaminess. The pandan rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the vegetables helped cut through the heaviness of the meat. Topping it off was a perfectly fried sunny side up.
The pieces of grilled rice cakes were crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the insides. Tastes very good when coated with the sweet and slightly tart, apple honey dip provided.
We had the Apple Platter (RM 88) which is their signature. The platter comes with the Apple Samgyupsal, Apple Moksal, Apple Hanjungsal, Apple Wraps, Tteok , Homemade Sausage and the Apple Salad.
Everything here is very neat and clean.
I really enjoyed my dining experience while savouring my delicious authentic Indian rice. UMAC House is actually a bungalow located in the old government quarters. Nestled within the busy urban town of Petaling Jaya, along Jalan University, it's lovely restaurant to eat, relax, chill for while or destress while sipping a cup of teh tarik or ice lemon tea.
So, this was what I ordered. Basic banana leaf comes with rice + 4 standard selection of vegetables + 2 papadums for a price of 6 ringgit. I added on chicken varuval, 6 ringgit – which lead to a total sum of 12 Ringgit. My friend who accompanied me for the day, also decided to eat banana leaf rice – 6 ringgit + fried banana chips, 3 ringgit + sura puttu (shark fish scramble), 8 ringgit = 17 ringgit. A delicious, wholesome meal for 12 ringgit and 17 ringgit? I’ve got no complains.
Verdict: Prices here are fair, works out to be around RM16 per person. Food is OK, could be better. Nice ambiance and ample parking space.
Having been in the Japanese dining scene for 22 years now, Sango remained one of the best authentic Japanese restaurants that have been whetting many palates since 1995, much more with the recently launched motley choices of vibrant bento set awaiting you here at Crystal Crown Hotel, Petaling Jaya.
Yakiniku Bento For beef eatery, you should try this! The beef is pan-grilled with sweet-savory sauce and chili. A twist-blend of Japanese style with our local style.
Sango Japanese Restaurant 已经推出超值的丼下午套餐。虽然说是午餐套餐,但是份量不会少噢!
