Notice several new kiosk replacing the outgoing ones, specifically 瓦煲鸡饭 claypot chicken rice, 炒果条 char koay teow, and 2/3 others (maybe noodles), and even a 肉骨茶 Klang Bak Kut Teh kiosk and 烧腊 Roasted pork/chicken kiosk at the back of the Food Street (replacing the long gone Ah Cheng Laksa). Those businesses resigned from the food court perhaps not good enough or just not the right type of food to satisfy taste buds of USJ residents, their kiosk were quickly filled up by these new ones.
If you are within the area, I strongly urge you to try the place out.
I like the pork noodle here; but for a change, I am trying the spicy meat ball pork noodle variant. It was my mistake, didn't enjoy it. And it was more expensive than the normal pork noodle.
Definitely worth multiple visits.
老友記 makes a good tasty porky soup with fresh pork innards and miced pork, lots of pork lard, Don't mind the $9.90 pricing, happiness can be really quite simple, it is indeed a good pork noodle place.
