Ambiance: 6/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 7/10 (pork-free) Verdict: Try the quesadillas, fish tacos and tostadas. If you’re a big eater, go for the burrito.
Reasons to visit Órale: colourful setting; value-for-money portions; must order the chickchanga and the cordero quesadilla.
Chico's black end chicken: Sweet and smoky flavored blackened chicken. Think of it like the Mexican version of nasi campur except way more expensive. The serving's quite huge, mostly from the beans and sides. Very filling.
It wasn’t mind-blowing, amazing or anything like that. It was nice. It was tasty. It was pricey. Maybe not worth the amount you pay. But then I imagine their overheads are super high. And the fish was delicious. I love fish tacos. I want more fish tacos. Haih. I’ll go back for a burrito and update you. Overall: 4/5
The Quesadilla was awesome! It comes in 4 large pieces, stuffed with flavored chicken meat, onions, corn, vegetables, cheese. It may look harmless but it sure does fill you up real quick. Yummmmyyyy!! It was flavorful, chewy, gooey from the mayo on the top, simply a burst of flavors. If I could change one thing – it would be to caramelize the onion? I wouldnt mind having this dish every other week if those caramelized onions were added in.
This time I had the Pulled Lamb Barbacoa Quesadillas (RM16.00). I thought it was really good.
