The wantons were silky and encased a fairly generous orb of lightly marinated meat. The fried wanton was crispy with a small flat piece of meat. The char siew was old school and tender. Th noodles were very nice, slightly thicker but soft with bite, tasty with the generous syrupy black sauce that was savoury more than sweet, and paired with really crispy pork lard. Nice comforting stuff.

I've never been to Circuit Road Hawker Centre before, but it's an old school place in an eccentric linear-shaped orientation.
Recommended by ieatishootipost. 汤清甜而富有浓鲜肉味、虾甜而有弹性、肉也鲜甜,嫩而腌制够味。一碗中高以上的虾面汤。Very drinkable, light yet sweet, thick and umami soup, worth going back for.
Gravy was sufficiently thick and creamy, packed with fragrance. Flavour was good and decent. What a comforting bowl of local flavour!
This delightful carrot cake fusion is undoubtedly one of the better ones I’ve had and their OG renditions are nothing to sneeze at either. It’s also just a short walk away from MacPherson MRT, which makes it impossible to not visit!
Don Don Prawn Noodles definitely deserves more credit for their fresh ingredients and flavours; perhaps the slightly higher price points are a bit daunting to some but they do serve up yummy bowls of noodles so it’s worth a go!
