Verdict: This was my first visit to Upperhouse Kitchen and Dessert Bar hence no comparison how’s the food before this 50% off promotion. Food we sampled that day was just average, I can’t find a good reason for me to come back.
Kimchi Cheese Croissant @ RM 26 Taste is pretty spot on, yet unique that have its own taste feature. Freshness of parsley do give it a slight much crips yet sour bitter after taste as you bite on the buttery bread. Very interesting. It is a dish that worth to order to check it out. Remember to squeeze on the lime.
Verdict: Upperhouse is a perfect spot for creative desserts and Western-style comfort food. Ideal for small gatherings and parties too.
Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger RM24 Absolutely delicious, sink your teeth into the juicy and succulent deboned buttermilk fried chicken topped with tomato and coleslaw sandwiched between two super soft milk bun.
Salted Egg Yolk Prawn Pasta RM25 Personally, we enjoyed their Salted Egg Yolk Prawn Pasta. Generous portion, with rich, flavourful salted egg yolk sauce thickly coated to strands of fettuccine. Cooked together with fresh, bouncy de-shelled prawns, finished with crispy anchovies, home-grown edible flowers and micro leaves garnishing. Recommended.
Honey Fried Chicken @ RM 22 Buttermilk Chicken, Honey Syrup Glaz. Love the glaze syrup that top ontop of the chicken that makes it slightly unique in taste compare to others where it has a combination of sweet and salty..
Ham & Cheese Sandwich @ RM 28 Housemade Brioche, Ham, Mozarella, Bechamel, Salad is one of my favourite. As the brioche is made from scratch. Chef made it himself then serve with mozarella cheese on the top. Something simple yet satisfying if you are a cheese lover.

What impressed us was the Creamy Crab Bisque (RM21), served ‘kopitiam’ style in an old school coffee cup with some golden croutons on the saucer. Comes with a cloud of foamy topping, the crab bisque is full of robust seafood essence. With just the right creaminess, the bisque is so tasty that one might even contemplate to drink from the cup!
