While not the best in class for tempura, what we had was pretty good. The ingredients were freshly fried and not excessively battered.
Overall, lunch at Hokkaido Marche did not turn out to be what we had anticipated.
I would, however, be happy to come back to try their other items, including a shoyu ramen that looked even better, as well as another ramen shop called Ajisai that had an amazing-sounding "Pork Fat Noodle Soup."
