Verdict: The food provided was definitely exceed my expectation and I was (I believe all members in our group too) largely contended with every meal at here. I heard that even guests from other nearby resorts also came for their meal, not to mention visitors that purposely travel to Adeline Villa simply just to savour their food.

There is a hill called Bukit Batu Putih in Gopeng, Perak (not to be confused with the popular hiking spot in Port Dickson with the same name), that offers an easy hiking trail and nice scenic peaks along the way. No permit required but there is an entrance fee of RM3, collected by an elderly man across the trailhead. It is recommended to go earlier to avoid the shadeless trail on the hill.
Lata Merkor waterfall, also known as Geruntum Falls, is located almost at the end of a road of a village in Gopeng, Perak. After our nearby hike at Bukit Batu Putih Gopeng and lunch at Gopeng Hill Asam Laksa, we visited this waterfall to refresh our energy.
If you can find a reliable ride there and back, you should make time to go to Tempurung Cave for whatever kind of tour you fancy. This was an amazing, extensive cave where I felt like I got more than my money’s worth considering how long I spent there. I also loved how the dry tours were self-guided so that I didn’t feel rushed by a guide telling me it’s time to move on to the next stop. I’m already planning for a wet tour the next time I’m in Ipoh!
The inside of Tempurung Cave is so grand that you won’t ever feel claustrophobic… at least not on the dry tours. The massive caverns have dripping stalactites that loom high overhead, yet are so large that some are beginning to join with stalagmites they have created. The long, unbroken passageway climbs up and disappears deep into the mountain, out of sight.
The meaty part of the Snakehead fish cut into slices and used to cook "kung pao" style, using dried chilies, big onions, spring onions, and various sauces. Nice, tasty and tender fish meat.
Fish slices (san yu or snakehead fish) with ginger slices and spring onions.
We ordered snakehead fish (sang yu). The flesh used for stir frying with ginger slices and spring onions.
Service from their staff is also very good.
