I like the Bakehouse French Toast, with both sweet and salty Savoury. Coffee is nice too. The other pasties are okay, and the Sourdough is not soft enough.
You could come here just for the wine, but the friendly service and wonderful food made it an enjoyable night out for us – especially since we were there to celebrate a milestone.
Italian food is always pricey, but Osteria Emilia isn’t any more expensive than a meal at Crust or Rebel Pasta. I was sure that we would be paying for the bread basket and water that the waiter automatically served us. Italian restaurants always like to sneakily charge you for water and bread that you never ordered in the first place. These things were free at Osteria Emilia, and I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came. The pizza was good, and the prices don’t break the bank too much, so we will likely eat here again.
We were able to get a tasty, casual lunch for a good price, considering the area. The cabinet sandwiches we ordered were cheap and filling. I could see other tables with pasta and soup, and they looked like decently sized portions. This is not a place worth travelling to just to eat here, though. Qra Cafe is a convenient spot for residents who want a quick bite after picking up their groceries.
[Pork-free] SEE Café is a newly opened space in Arcoris Mont Kiara, in a collaborative effort between Signature Market and Barista Guild Asia. With the latter operating the espresso machine here, we knew the coffee was going to be stellar – and truly, it did not disappoint.
Walking on Sunshine has clearly set a high standard for themselves. Not only is the restaurant a beautiful space, but the food is exquisitely presented and tastes great. The service was also noteworthy. I don’t typically care much about a restaurant’s service as long as they bring me the correct plate of food, but everyone at Walking on Sunshine was so welcoming and friendly. Even the hairstylists were helpful when I obviously wasn’t getting a haircut today. It’s a bit expensive, but aren’t all brunch places? In Mont Kiara, no less?! Unlike the others, however, Walking on Sunshine nails the big three: a lovely environment, superb service and yummy food.
♥Verdict: QingHeGu didn’t quite live up to my expectation because I’ve read quite many good reviews about this place. Food was pretty average and the variety of Banchan was merely satisfying as well. Revisit? Probably not.
