So yours truly was given the opportunity to stay at the JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La, on a recent trip to Penang and it was definitely a beautiful and memorable stay….
We enjoyed the Smoked Duck variant better than the other; we thought the combination was better. The extra touch of Japanese Furikake (Japanese Rice Sprinklers) added another layer of flavor to the dish. Apart from that, the flavor combo was quite straight forward
Mr Wang is not a very big place with only a few seating place but comfortable for dine it.
Another one of my favorite food here is the Homemade Chicken Luncheon Meat and Sausage.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced mid-range hotel in George Town, I would recommend Hotel Jen Penang as the location is convenient to get around to most sights in the city centre.
The main highlight is obviously Roasted Turkey, which is served with sweet potatoes, chestnuts, vegetables, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.
Overall, Hotel Jen Penang’s “Sea & Grill” buffet offers a wide variety of fresh seafood such as snow crab legs, tiger prawns, oysters and slipper lobsters
