But yea, overall nice experience and my first hidden bar!
来到【天下第一客栈】,大家一定要点他们的招牌鸡尾酒 -- 女儿红!
Definitely, a "superb" interesting place to hang-out.
The main highlight is obviously Roasted Turkey, which is served with sweet potatoes, chestnuts, vegetables, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.

Feast Your Senses at Café Jen JEN Penang Georgetown's New International Buffet Lunch

This place served fine dinning with varieties of good wine. For those that would like to enjoy afternoon tea, there is a section for that too. The Ambience is cozy and elegant. The taste of food here touches all the taste buds sensation. The only word to describe is ‘Devine’.
Duck Confit,考得外皮酥脆,慢火煮至鸭腿骨肉分离一拔就脱离,这种软嫩的程度简直就是在引诱我增肥。
Platform 9 3/4 serves French cuisine in a fine dining setting.
We enjoyed the Smoked Duck variant better than the other; we thought the combination was better. The extra touch of Japanese Furikake (Japanese Rice Sprinklers) added another layer of flavor to the dish. Apart from that, the flavor combo was quite straight forward
Another one of my favorite food here is the Homemade Chicken Luncheon Meat and Sausage.
The quality of the food here is as good as the one i tried at Kuala Lumpur outlet.
Hailed from Texas, one of the biggest names in the fast food chain industry- Texas Chicken has recently expanded its business operation to the Northern Region of Malaysia, opening its first store in 1st Avenue Mall Penang. The newly opened store in Georgetown is the first store outside of Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan. It all started with the demands posted by the fried chicken enthusiasts on the Facebook Page and with careful planning, it finally materialized. We were also told that there will be a few more new stores opening in the northern region in the near future. The menu offered in all Texas Chicken stores is standardized across (save for the seasonal offers) and the quality is controlled to ensure the highest standards are met.
As for the taste, it was home cooked dishes with simple flavour and seasoning. Not any robust taste but it keeps your heart warm and stomach hunger fulfilled. Moreover, the price is inexpensive.
This is the place you get Tang Yuen 湯圓 (Glutinous Rice Balls) at night. During the day or lunch time, it's a popular place for Teow Chew porridge.
Overall, I find the Assorted Meat Malahotpot Meal to be the most appealing dish at Super Fish Noodle Box.
Here's the location.
他们的TomYam和酸辣汤我们一直大推,因为酸辣部分很够劲,搭配新鲜的石斑鱼肉或者炸鱼,吃完了还会令人有意犹未尽感觉
The Line Sandwich (RM 23) would be an ideal choice for those who loves to have sandwich. It comes in a bigger portion, having pork bacon, smoked salmon, eggs and hams as filling and covered with homemade bread that gives a full sensation. It is served with well cut French Fries too.
这里的世界文化遗迹建筑物被重新粉刷翻新成美丽的白色建筑物,不再是老旧不已的战前老屋样貌,但还保留乔治市古色古香的屋身。
The Line's Seafood Aglio Olio was a little different compared to others... particularly the introduction of Salmon into the dish. While we enjoyed the al-dente texture of the Pasta, we found the dish a little fishy (stench) probably due to Salmon. It was bearable but that somehow discounted some marks. For light eaters, the Portobello & Sausage works. The Chicken Sausage was delicious.... well-seasoned with an addictive bouncy texture while the Sunny Side Up was well-cooked with runny Egg Yolk in the middle. Not to be missed is the Croissant.... extremely flaky and even better to go with the premium Butter.
Nevertheless, the char siew was amazing, lobak, vegetables and other dishes on our plate were good. I would be happy if I got all these dishes rotated for my dinner
Coffee 1911's Platter features a blend of Western and Asian elements, the most distinctive item is of course none other than its home-made Otak-Otak. The combination of Beef Bacon, Sausages, Otak-Otak and Toast does not seem to blend in... perhaps it works for sharing but does not constitute a good main. Also, for the price of Rm 24, we thought it was a little on the expensive side
Mr Wang is not a very big place with only a few seating place but comfortable for dine it.
The winning dish was the Seared Beef with Red Wine sauce. My partner in crime did not like rare meat so we had to go for Medium Rare but the texture was still beyond amazing- so tender and meaty, the Red Wine sauce did not overkill the beefy flavor but good enough to provide a touch of flavors to the meat. This was the dish that we enjoyed most that evening.
One of the special items on offer- any order of the Teriyaki Salmon Rice Bowl comes with a cup of Coffee, Tea or Fruit Juice... cooked Salmon, Avocado, Greens (Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Broccoli) and Hard-boiled Eggs, served atop of Japanese Rice and over Teriyaki sauce. The combination would fit for any health-watchers; the Japanese touch of Teriyaki Sauce was the soul of the dish but everything was basically straight-forward, no extra seasoning was used. For those who yearn for lighter options, the Toasted Bagel is a good choice.
Penang is famous for its Peranakan culture, particularly the well-known Baba Nyonya community. Established in 1933 as a kuih-specializing factory, Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay expanded to include a storefront in 2016, showcasing a remarkable commitment to Nyonya kueh.
Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Kuih has earned the prestigious Bib Gourmand status in the 2023 Michelin Guide KL and Penang list.
Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay was where we headed for our fix of Nonya Kuehs. Having visited Jason’s Nonya House and still craving for Nonya fare, we found Moh Teng Pheow Nonya Koay a popular venue for koahs such as Kueh Lapis, Kueh Talam and Kueh Bengka.
The savouries (i to iv, vii) were really interesting, in particular i, iii and iv. II was really pretty too. Overall an interesting fusion experience, with much Indian influence.
Their tasting menu mainly revolves around the produce-driven concept, to recreate nostalgic flavours using bold innovative cooking methods.
Reasons to visit Communal Table by Gen 根: inventive contemporary Malaysian cuisine; serious portions that are perfect for sharing; highly recommend gourmets from the globe pay a visit
Lavish Fusion Bakery is located at a heritage shop along the bustling Victoria Street and is ornamented with pink walls, plants, and beautiful mural art which depict the elements of strong nature, tropical and beach vibes.
But on the other hand, Wild Berries Lemonade captured our heart with its amazing taste. A taste featuring the sour and sweetness that triggers the senses in unexpected ways, YUM!! Wild Berries Lemonade @ RM 17.20
Roasted chicken Green Curry at about MYR 28.5 where the green curry gravy is served in the very small glass container shown ini the photo.
The name "Tok Tok" originates from the onomatopoeic sound a chef makes while kneading noodle dough with a bamboo pole, a tradition still observed at the entrance of this establishment.
The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.
Tok Tok Mee Noodle House, used to known as Hong Kee Wantan Noodle now is operate by the next generation where the legacy of bamboo noodle was passed down. The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.
The moment you enter the aesthetically rustic space, thou shall sense that this is the perfect spot for any coffee aficionado- particularly specialty coffee. The soothing coffee aroma that is wafting through the air easily set your mood at ease. And that makes it the perfect moment to slowly unwind the day with a good cuppa along some hearty nosh.
Olive Oil Zucchini Bread (MYR 13) Comes with some sea salt sprinkles and whirl of smooth crème fraîche.
Both Cafe Latte (H) and (I) taste simply delicious. A beautiful combination of coffee and almond milk that packs a punch, delicious and smooth. In addition, what I love about this cafe is that they don't charge extra for Almond Milk. Sounds great right.
