Food cook by Charcoal is generally much tastier. We had a good time here! Looking at the price list, the cost is quite affordable too. However, be prepared to smell smoke when you are there.

This relatively new chain of Teochew noodle stalls came up in conversation today, so I went on over to give it a try. They had a lot of unique things, particularly that cute little bowl of mee sua above, which came topped with scallops along with a bowl of soup containing sliced liver and meatballs.

The tagline for Grain Catering is "Your Friends Are Eating Grain And Loving It", and this is an apt description. At the time of this post, I consider Grain Catering to be the gold standard for catering in Singapore. Why? There are a variety of factors that support my decision.
The Christmas Peppercorn Fried Chicken features a large piece of boneless chicken thigh, coated in a crisp crunchy batter seasoned with salt and pepper. this was my favourite, and it wasn't overly greasy too. Good!
