Located at Pek Kio Market & Food Centre, Pin Wei Chee Cheong Fun is one of only a few stalls serving this Hong Kong Style Cheong Fun in Singapore. The HongKong style is covered in a light soy sauce and the skin is typically thinner and has fillings. My Fresh prawns cheong fun was wrapped in this silky smooth handmade rice rolls and garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
The chee cheong fun was really not bad – soft and smooth yet firm and retaining its shape. You could really smell the fragrance of the rice, the soy sauce and sesame oil were nice touches, while the prawns within were succulent and fresh.
Pin Wei Chee Cheong Fun is one of the few stalls that offer this dish Hong Kong-style.
