Price wise, this comes cheaper than Da Dong and the waiting time is probably shorter as well. It is a good alternative if you want to have a competent bowl of prawn noodles in Joo Chiat.
The stock was more crustaceany and prawny, plus thick and layered, but not so sweet. The prawns were really fresh and sweet, so much so that you could pull the flesh off the shell very easily. Wah Kee was still the gold standard, of the prawny rather than porky broth as it was here, although this was really not bad.
I would definitely come back for this especially on a rainy day!

East Treasure is more economical and generous in prawns while Da Dong has its stock done best without dilution. They both tastes great and it depends which of the prawn mee style floats your boat.
