Salmon Zanmai is one of my favourite dish. For salmon lover, you can dive to enjoy the awesome choices of sushi all in one goal where you can have salmon, salmon belly, broiled salmon, salmon roasted with cod roe and the salmon roll all in one place. One can enjoy the melts in the mouth salmon which is delectable.
It was a good lunch with my sister. Good & fast service and the quality of the food remains the same in all the outlets which I am quite impressed. Well done guys.
Darling also ordered this Mentaiko Spider Roll (RM13.80). Deep fried soft shell crab rolled in nori sheet and rice. Wrapped in Vietnamese spring roll skin and topped with avocado and cod roe mayonnaise. We super love this and will definitely order this again on our future visit.
Overall Rating: 8/10 Sushi Zanmai may be a Japanese chain store restaurant, the quality & standard of their food was certainly on par! :) Service was prompt and efficient too. Our green tea was refilled without being prompted/asked, and the staffs greeted us with warm hospitality as we stepped into the restaurant, despite being really busy attending to all their customers. The sushi on the conveyor belt tasted really fresh too, unlike some restaurant who just leave the sushi revolving around for hours.
Kakiage Don (S) . RM10.80 Ppwen's. She always couldn't resist to prawn, over here, she had fried prawn and some vegetables. I planned to order this as well, she read my mind and ordered it, so I can tasted it at the same time too. Like the prawns as they were quite fresh.
After the meal, I could said that sushi served here indeed very delicious and nice. Now I know why people willing to queue for it. We shall pay another visit to Sushi Zanmai again.
One of my favorite cheapos, Tamago sushi. I like how they spiced up the presentation using the mayonnaise and made it look a lot nicer.
We’re so full, felt so pleased and contented with the meal and tranquil surroundings they provide. Well, I think this place is somewhat more affordable and worthwhile compared to…well u know (mentioned earlier) The rice served are soft to the correct consistency I’ll say. Like the sushis I had, its rice is not hard and “not processed by machines” (in order to form the small clumps) like.. u-know-where…
