Food at Ramen Santouka is naturally, Japanese cuisine, with a focus on ramen noodles and donburi rice bowls.
Rice and strips of tender pork belly in adobo sauce wrapped in banana leaf. Sweet and savoury and just a tiny bit smokey with pepper. This was pretty good.
To be honest, I may have just walked past this restaurant several times without knowing there is a legitimate Japanese sushi bar inside. Now you know.
It was a full but satisfying lunch, with good service and lovely exotic food.
Good food aside, the restaurant also offers individual portions if someone preferred smaller plates, and thus be able to sample a larger variety of the menu.
