SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ has introduced the new Hangari Dry-Aged Meat! Each meat is grilled to perfection using binchotan!
Recommended by Johor Kaki, with quite a long queue at lunchtime on a Sat. The wanton mee came with black sauce in a bowl. The wantons here were really plump and smooth, and well marinated and peppery inside. The wiry noodles here were a bit soft, and the thick black sauce was more sweet than savoury. The char siew was sweet and tender, and the soup sweet and peppery. Not a bad bowl aside from the overdone noodles.
The Yakiniku-GO folks are running a promotion right now featuring a MasterChef Asia finalist, and this "beef bomb" is one of the outputs.
I was in the Wisma Food Court and saw Sing Hong Kong Kitchen and couldn’t resist.
A hawker centre that is well ventilated, clean, and most importantly, full of goodies from all over the island, Fernvale Hawker Centre & Market is certainly a gem. Go before everyone discovers this gem and the queues get crazy!
Roast Paradise is a great addition to Sengkang and it offers a good option in the North-East region of Singapore if you are craving for some good roast meats.
Overall, I can say that their Thai fried chicken is a very solid dish and worth ordering! If you have a hankering for that, you should definitely visit Tuk Tuk Gai Thai Fried Chicken.
I had a good meal at The Apricus! It has a nice ambience and is a perfect place to hang out with friends. Will definitely be back again!
Without a doubt, Mohamed Javed Indian Muslim Food is a place I’d travel to again for prata and Indian rojak. Their nasi briyani is also highly raved about and even said to be sold out before 2pm so that’s just another reason to make your way to Sengkang!
Bot bad Thai style wanton mee. Fragrant with nice Thai sausages. The wanton and fried dumplings were standard but quite plump with meat filling, and the char siew was passable.
